Having investigated your case we have to say that for this case there is no mistake from our side visible
You booked your stay at our resort via one of our online partners. On their website you can choose to book either single occupancy or double occupancy which results in two different rates. You had chosen single occupancy which was also visible on the hotel voucher which you received directly from that online agent. Additionally you choose to book room without breakfast as stated in your voucher. The booking documents we got don't mentioned anything about HONEYMOON which by the way would be difficult to know if the room is booked for one person only. On arrival at our hotel we informed you that your booking is done only for one person and you could call to the online agent to change your booking or you can pay a supplement directly to our hotel to change your single room into a double room which you finally chose. Finding out that YOU booked the room without breakfast we did not want to spoil your honeymoon anymore by your own action and gave the breakfast for both of you complimentary.
On arrival we ask all our guests to sit down so that we are able to serve the welcome drink and arrange the paper work smoothly.
Unfortunately during your stay we faced a storm which caused the electricity in our resort and the surrounding to shut down as some cables / equipment were damaged but luckily the generator could jump shortly after the cut off so that we had the electricity back.
The room you stayed is one of our Tropical Deluxe Rooms which was totally refurbished three years ago and everything is still new inside.
We are really sorry that your honeymoon was spoiled by your own negligence but hope that the rest of your trip was better prepared.
