Don't Park here or get a 100 fine! Bought a ticket in cash because the internet did not work but didn't receive a physical ticket!
Got a letter £100 fine I ignored it, now a year later a county court fine for £246,
I will see them in court, a illegal scam to make extra money!
Disgraceful service!...

Don’t park here you will get fined even if you pay

Same as so many others I paid parking at the machine for a lot longer that we stayed only to receive a fine a few weeks later. unfortunately by then we no longer had the ticket to prove parking was paid for. Challenged the fine as I entered my reg on the machine only to be told no record and the fine stands.

Do not park at this car park

Avoid this car park - heavy fines. Paid my car park fee and received a £100 fine plus scary letter. When looking back at my ticket. realised I had made a keying error on my car registration. Appealed and did manage to get it dropped to £20.

Do not park here unless you fancy £100 fine

The parking is a nightmare and it seems we aren’t the only ones. The app did not work - neither did phoning the parking company. Spent more then an hour trying to pay for the parking then left. Have subsequently been sent a £100 fine. Have appealed but no joy. We only stopped there as my 4 year old felt car sick on our way through Lechlade so we thought a walk would help. Only consolation is that £100 fine us probably still cheaper then a full valet :-)

Sunday afternoon alfresco on the Thames

For tourists on a long holiday this is the dream, an evening in the garden on the edge of the Thames, the locals and the River Boats adding to the atmosphere. The wine list was good and there was a choose of ales and ciders. We only had light snacks which were good so can't comment on the full menu

Car Parking Robbery!

I parked in the Riverside Car Park back in January. I couldn't get the app to work to pay for parking so paid in the machine, in cash. Paid for an hour as was only staying 20 minutes to let the dogs stretch their legs as on a longer journey. More than 2 months later I now have a £100 parking fine - appeal process started but based on other reviews, can't see me getting anywhere. Absolutely bonkers. Will never, ever use again which is a shame, because it is a lovely walk.

The biggest problem with the location is the Car Park, multiple reviews reflect on the issue.
My experience is like others , enter the car park , pay cash at the machine and enter details, but no ticket.
I rang the number at the bottom of the tarrif board to the owners NOT the operator.They appear quite reasonable to resolve the issue.

Time will tell as I did receive a notice for £100.

I believe what Minster Baywatch is doing is illegal and unreasonable, and the ombudsman must be made aware.
This experience spoils a perfectly reasonable place and as a visitor my experience of Lechslade is completely soiled.
I wish the area well but I can't imagine I would venture there again based on the experience.

We parked here for 30 mins 26th July on our way to our Sons in Swindon. My husband paid cash for 1 hour and entered his reg number. The machine displayed payment was made, we have now received a parking ticket for£100, we've appealed but been told we've still got to pay. We weren't issued with a ticket so we have no proof we paid. Looking on this website it seems this has happened to other people. It's about time something was done about this carpark, we won't be coming again. Why would you try and dodge a charge of £1.00.
BE WARNED, don't use this carpark
