hidden among hills very old temple ,followed by millions to take blessing of ma kalyaneshwari, dont miss the ancient temple behind the main temple,beautiful place to spend a weekend,very well connected by highways ,dont miss the local sweets and maithan dam

Must visit place in Maithon. It is a small temple. However, Ma is very famous here. Be careful from Monkeys. Better to buy the sweet inside temple road. Outside will approach. However, better to a avoid

It is a very old and must visit temple. It is a Jagrut mandir. It is said that wishes get fulfilled here. We saw many people who had come their to give bali as their wish got fulfilled. Temple is near to the Maithon Dam. Don't forget to do Charan Darshan. Just behind the temple there is good view of mountains and small river. Many take photos there. You will find small restaurants near the temple.

We had learnt that the place remains over crowded specially on Tuesdays and Saturdays so we tried to reach the Mandir as early as possible.Luckily we didn't encounter to much crowd and were able to offer puja without any hassles. The place is so calm and serene that I didn't feel like leaving.This is one of the shakti piths of Goddess Kali and very revered. Please visit the back side of the Mandir where you will find a small stream going by and the whole atmosphere will leave a calming effect on your mind.

We had been here on our way to Maithon Dam. Located just around 7 km before the dam. Very crowded always and it is locally very famous. We offered Puja to the deity.
