Merita comunque una visita in quanto la spiaggia è bella e il mare cristallino.
Sono rimasto leggermente deluso in quanto alla fine è uno spiaggione come se ne vedono altri. Occhio anche al vento che, nel mio caso, era ai limiti della sopportabilità.

Magnifique plage, vue fin octobre. on s'y est baigné avec délice. Eau transparente avec jolis poissons, très agréable. Par contre transats hors de prix ! A fuir !

Super beach with warm clear water. Easy access into the water and great beach beds and beach restaurants to enjoy. Spent a week in the area and loved the beach you can walk to the nearby ancient ruins and the vibe is very relaxed. Not fancy but all great.

Amazing beech with top class cocktails.
People complain about price of sunbeds & drinks. But good valve for money considering the location. Crystal clear waters you could spend the day here.

Great beach in Chania. Fab for snorkelling if the wind is right, sun beds are at a bargain price. Food & drink available too. Much better than other close beaches.

Beautiful beach!
Very clear water and nice sandy beach!
It has many beach bars as well, so if you want a sunbed, you will find one, even during the high season.
Worth the driving!

We are planning to visit Falassarna Beach from Kissamos by bike or scooter/ Quad ATV.
Anyone with some guidance, recommendations and advice for the trip?
How is the road situation? Which way is more suitable for a bike tour?
We'll be grateful for any suggestions!

Hello,
I see there ´s 2 way between kissamos ans Falassarna ; i don’t know which is the best. But i think that with the heat and the slopes it will be not easy in bike ; but you should be a good biker to consider it ; don’t forget the water 😅have fun👍

I am going to Chania in August and it's my first time in high season. I do not drive, so I will rely on public transport to reach the beach. That said, how likely is it that I will get an umbrella and chairs arriving around 12pm with the bus? Also, is there any alternative to going back relatively early with the 5.45pm bus?
Can anyone recommend a taxi driver for such long distance trips that would be reasonably priced and reliable?

It depends on which beach you're heading to. In most beaches there's a pretty good chance to find umbrella and sunbed. The price for taxi is usually predetermined but again it depends on where you're staying

I am planning to spend 1 week with my family at this beach.
Go to balos and elafonissi beach for 2 days and spend rest of the time here.
Can you please suggest if there are enough restaurants and few taxi stands near by to this beach?

There are a few places to eat near there and I did not see any taxi stand. There are only a few places to eat near elafonisi as well- not many. We had a car and traveled back to Afrata and we loved it there. The beach at Falassarna is incredible and enjoy!

è agevole ma non necessaria! quando stai per arrivare e ti ritrovi gli uliveti sulla sinistra c'è una deviazione sulla sinistra e oltre ad accorciare la strada eviti completamente lo sterrato! arriverai nella zona della taverna perigiali che ti consiglio!
