If you have limited time in this pier, you can skip this trail as it's worth for your time! I would use the time to visit other places along the lake.

The parking lot to the Shuiwatou Trail was easy to miss, but is around the Route 21-5 mark. We went there on a weekday at around 9 in the morning and it was quite quiet. The statue of 9 frogs in the water is a water level indicator and when we were there, 5 frogs were submerged in the water.
The trail is a boardwalk, and the trail itself is short. However, the trail itself leads to another easy flat trail - the Ita Thao Lakeside trail. The approximate length of the two trails one way is under 2.5km.

步道來回九蛙景點約30-40分鐘，其中階梯較多，若有娃娃車者，可能需要用人工抬行，竹林中的步道多了幾分愜意，走到盡頭看到整個日月潭又顯得開闊，美中不足缺點是步道入口處的停車位置太少，且標誌較小容易錯過

這條步道，非常好走，沿路的綠蔭很多，行人很少，所以很安靜 漫步在湖邊 非常的愜意， 喜歡走路的人， 這是一條很棒的步道。
