Sambangan Village has so many beautiful waterfalls. The waterfalls that we went in called Kroya waterfall, Kembar, and Pucuk. All of them are amazing. The entrance cost only IDR 20K/person.. but if you wanna go for swimming, cliff jumping, and do a water slide, it will cost IDR 125K/person. you'll get guide, water bottle, insurance, and a life jacket for safety.
The track is so easy and you'll be spoiled by so many stunning things inside.
If you wanna go to Aling2 waterfall, you can also go through here which is easier than before (than the track long time ago).

We loved every minute of being in the secret garden at Sambangan. Winding paths through gorgeous surroundings, with spectacular views, provided a wonderful setting for a delightful country walk. Ignore the self-appointed guides who try to charge extra for swimming in clean rivers surrounded by an abundance of life, as there are places where they do not regulate this interaction with nature. One cannot blame them for wanting to capitalise on the opportunity to take money from comparatively rich tourists, but neither does one have to contribute to what could be considered something of a cynical exploitation. Despite the moral conundrum presented by this consideration, one day of trekking through this location awoke the senses and touched the soul. What a glorious place!

There are 3 different treks. We went on the medium trek Rp250.000 starting at 8.30am. We went to the rice fields. It is so good to see the authentic fields vs the commercialised Tegalalang. Our guide, Geda, was patient and knowledgeable. He showed us the various spices. We went past a Marigold field and stopped at a local house for coconut. We arrived at blue lagoon but as it rained yesterday, the lagoon was brown. Regardless, it was cooling and peaceful. We headed to the other waterfalls. Did the 5m and 10m jump, and slide. We gave the 15m jump a miss.
As we started off early, we had most of the places to ourselves. Gedu said most people opted for the short trek.
Medium trek was just right for me. We found it enjoyable. It is better than Campuhan Ridge and Tegallalang. Trek is not suitable for those afraid of heights, have knees and heart issues, and seniors.
You can make reservations by emailing them. Details are available in the picture.

BE CAREFUL! The entrance for visiting only it's 20.000 IDR. But they will not say that to you. They will offer the "shortest" option that is 250.000 IDR!!!! Be explicit about what you want to do because they want to get all your money!

What an amazing tour. We chose the 3 hour trek and had a wonderful informative guide. We went early in the morning and had the secret garden all to ourselves. The guide was fabulous - lots of local knowledge about waterfalls history local vegetation . His English was brilliant so easy to converse. There were lots and lots of steps but take your time and it will be worth it. The waterfalls and jumps and slide are amazing but you need a guide as can be very dangerous if you don’t know where and how to jump . 5 m. 10 m and 15m jumps . It is best to make your own way to the entry via private driver and then pay the fee. We went through Bali sambang tours website and lots of confusion over costing so I would not recommend the tour company/admin but our guide and driver were fantastic. If you use the website to book MAKE SURE you get an email stating the actual full cost to avoid any complication upon arrival at the falls .

The medium tour we took was great. Despite the cost - 250k per person it is totally worth visiting. We went there early in the morning and had the Blue Lagoon and rice terrace for ourselves. We also got some fresh cocoa from the farmer to try. When we reached the slide and the twin waterfall there had already been some people, but still it wasn't as crowded as one may expect. We also had great guides who showed us some Indonesian plants and flowers.

Is there somewhere safe to put your belongings when jumping / swimming? What do people do?
Should we try to find a tour guide on the internet in advance? It should we just show up in the morning and book someone who is there already?
