Fine enough, but too many people and too long ques

Interesting event with a great variety of local people selling home cooked products. The location is next to the sea, which gives a nice view.
There are simply too many people on very limited space, and the ques for getting either something to drink or eat are ridiculous. It is difficult to get back and forth at the event because of the massive amount of people.
I do not recommend going here with small children. We went with our 2.5 year old daughter, and there were almost nothing to do for her besides sitting on a tractor. Also, being next to the see is not easy with small children.
The event is probably best for people at the age of 40-50+.

Vi har vid flera tillfällen ridit med Kiviksishästar, mycket trevligt och rolig ridning med utsikt över Östersjön och vackra Österlen med bok skogar och varierande landskap.

Kivik Apple Festival

This annual event in the last week.end of September is a must, if you like Scandinavian views, food and fruits. Visit the festival area including the enormous "apple painting" by a new artist every year. This years "painting" consisted of more than 35.000 apples. Taste lots of local handcrafted specialties incl. fruit, jams, jellies, oils, mustards, vinegars, ciders, apple juices and much, much more. You may also savour a hamburger, a hot-dog or a sumptuous herring lunch in the herring tents. Then visit Kivik Musteri for a tour de force of apple varieties, an apple museum, a plant producing many varieties of superb apple juices and finish the tour shopping apple delights in a vareiety beyond your imagination. Should you require lodging and finer dining, go to Kiviks Hotell, an exquisite place with well appointed rooms, a very nice restaurant and a fantastic view over Kivik and the Baltic Sea. It's a two hour drive from Copenhagen International Airport, so it may easily be combined with a sojourn in Denmark.

Vi var nästintill nybörjare. Innan turen så fick vi en tydlig och bra genomgång om "hur man gör". Underbara snälla hästar och en väldigt bra instruktör gjorde turen till en av de bästa upplevelserna den sommaren! Samt den fantastiska omgivningen såklart. Rekommenderas för både vuxna och barn!
