Brilliant. Fully restored wind pump. On the day we went (four people) there was a chap on hand to fully explain how it was refurbished and how it used to work. View from top beautiful.

We popped in here passing through and so glad we did. The staff were really knowledgeable and we learnt so much. It's well worth a visit. We didn't use the cafe or do any of the walks and we were there just over an hour

Great building in very good condition. The National Trust guides are friendly and knowledgeable. Easy parking and toilets plus shower and decent little cafe.

We enjoyed looking around this windpump. It was great to find one with sales, and although I'd forgotten to take my National Trust Card, they were able to find me on the 'system' and let me go in. It was disappointing that we couldn't go out onto the cap for the views, but the views from the windows were good. Take heed though, the steps are really steep.
The ice cream they sell in the kiosk is delicious too.

This is an interesting structure to look around. The person inside the structure was very knowledgeable and informative information was given in his short talk. The steps as you could imagine are steep so you do have to be agile to climb up it was just a shame the viewing area is closed at the moment

Very interesting spot
We arrived and were told it was timed entrance, but given the option of going into the Windpump immediately, so we did
The staff inside were very knowledgeable and we did learn something about the area and the Windpump itself
We had a pleasant walk abound the surrounding area
Did not try the cafe so cannot comment on that

I'm beginning to wonder about the National Trust. On this occasion we queued for a long time to be served at the cafe because only one poor lady was serving. Round the corner of the tea shed there were four NT staff discussing a window replacement and studiously avoiding anyone who wanted to ask a question. I felt very worry for the lady on her own trying to do a good job.

Magical. The guy (name forgotten) who explained everything to us on a Monday was beyond superb. The entusiasm was brilliant and he could tell at what level your interest was. One of the nicest volunteers ever met at national trust properties. The building is spectacular and full access is available even at the top outside. This place excited us very much and I can only say brilliant things about it. The location is also beautiful and on a nice day many hours could be spent in the area walking and vielwing or simply sitting and relaxing. Stunning
