hi there, we are coming in March via cruise and thinking about making our way there for a quick snorkeling trip before our "cruise excursion" at noon. Couple of questions: 1. Do you have snorkel equipment to fit a 10 year old? 2. Can we still see some good sealife without going to see (my kids would probably prefer 3-5')? 3. Is there an onsite restaurant open before lunchtime, like around 10am? Thanks!

Agree with all of the other answers. We ate at Creperies which was very good and very close by.

Looking forward to returning to Eden Rock again this year....Would appreciate input on the following since I don't remember much about our last snorkel adventure except the gorgeous fish!
Is there just one ladder to enter or another to walk down to the snorkeling area? I'm a decent swimmer, but a bit worried about being in the middle of boat traffic while snorkeling and possible rough water.
Are Devil's Grotto and Eden Rock far from each other to snorkel?

Eden Rock and Devil's Grotto are about 100 yards apart. Eden Rock is about 500 feet from the 2 ladders and is marked by a white buoy. Both spots are away from boat traffic. The best times to go there are when there are few cruise ships in town. I've been there in October & in June. There's fewer ships in October which means less sand being stirred up by ships. Also, if you are in the area, I recommend snorkeling the wreck of the Cali which is across the street from Diary Queen. The Cali is about 300 feet from shore and the area is frequented by large Tarpon. It's eerie & worth seeing.
