Awful, embarassing, stressful, disappointing kids birthday party

Awful experience. Booked a 6th birthday party which was meant to include bowling, softplay and a room to eat in.

On the day was told the kids would have to eat at the bowling area as the one party room out of use and the other fully occupied. This meant our kids eating food on their laps, us singing happy birthday around a coffee table and blowing candles out huddled on the floor.

Staff had an unprofessional. And dismissive attitude, even arguing with us in front of the parents and kids- saying nothing they can do about it and that's what's normal. Other things they agreed to do not delivered until we made a complaint on the day.

Very embarrassing and stresful party. Totally ruined us being able to enjoy our son's bday. My advice to other parents don't even think of booking a party there. Absolute shambles.

Will not be recommending to other mums and dads I know, and the other parents there were motified so unlikely they will.

Thanks Super Bowl Merthyr you should be proud of yourselves!

Overly busy & a lot of machines were out of order
First thing I would state is that we didn't bowl, play mini golf or use the soft play - so my review is largely based on our experience in the arcade.

My daughter is an avid arcade gamer, & we regularly visit arcades whenever we're passing through anywhere. In terms of arcade experiences, this is not one of the best we've had! A number of machines - including BOTH change machines - were not working... which meant that although she was ready to change up £10 to paly a few games, Alyssa was only able to use the coins I had in my wallet. The place was absolutley rammed, & I noted a number of dubiously young looking teenagers playing on fruit machines & drinking alcohol... which doesn't bother me massively, but equally doesn't paint a particularly good picture of the establishment on the whole. Hopefully they were older than they looked & I'm losing my ability to age people though!

Children food, really is worth £5

I have been here a number of occasions bringing my nephew to the play zone area, this time I am apsolutly appauled with the price of food for the children. 

If this is what you think is worth £5 then you should be ashamed with the services you are providing. 

This is scandless what is someone has more than 1 child it's cheaper to go to across the road to Frankie and Bennies or McDonald's than to be served this.

Visited yesterday. Golf was very poorly laid out, almost impossible to play right handed as all obstacles against the left wall. course way to short to warrant the price, reminded me of a home made Village Faye course from old pipes and mdf Arcade, although looked like it could be fun, was full of faulty machines that ate money but didn’t work. Rifle range, simulator, jumanji and hamster ball machines all failed to work has they should. Attempted to point these out to a overworked young girl working there but she could only apologise as she rushed about.
Planned to return a few times during the school holidays but will go further afield instead.

Bowling fine just don't go for food!!

Well what can I say!! Bowling was fine and enjoyed by all but we visited with a group of adults with disabilities. Tables were limited.. apparently due to covid but you could easily space them out better! We waited nearly an hour for food.. noone else had ordered food so no idea what was happening! We were told they were rushed off their feet! When I asked I was told by the waiter he couldn't tell me as he doesn't control the kitchen 😂😂. It certainly wasn't covid I was worried about catching in the toilets!! I also had to ask they wipe our tables down as it certainly wasn't a priority. Never mind the masks people needed to be cleaning in this place! Staff were very scarse and it was meant to be table service but there was never anyone to serve.

Great bowling
We went bowling here while on holiday. It had to be booked online due to COVID-19, and all track and trace details taken. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was clean and tidy with great atmosphere

Visited as we came out of cinema. Clean and tidy and enough for 9 year old to do. My husband left his wallet on the shooting game... we live 40 mins away. Staff were kind and helpful and luckily one of them found it. Thanks all.

My son had tickets to collect prizes and the member of staff behind the desk was asking him what he was talking about .When she could of moved from behind the desk to look what he was talking about and then the member of staff replied “I don’t know what you are talking about and I do think I have the item you are trying to describe to me is behind the desk.I don’t have the key for the cabinet to get it out”
They must have the key to the cabinet though because then how do they get the toys in the cabinet.
Then my son said that he didn’t want the thing he was trying to describe because the staff memeber said that she had no idea what he was going on about . Then the staff memeber said to my son to hurry up because he was being to slow but it would of been quicker if she had come from the desk to look what he was talking about
The member of staff had no patience and this was on the first week of the summer holidays.So god help the member of staff for the rest of the summer holidays
Unfortunately,we did no get the member of staffs name but if I did I would of mentioned it In this article
The member of staff should also be questioning their role due to the rudeness to my child as maybe she should question why she is working with members of the public.
