This park was really nice, big spray park and quite a large playground structure. There are covered picnic tables to sit in the shade. I had 2 complaints though. The water only runs for a short time and then eventually comes back on. Seemed like 5 minutes on, 5 minutes off. There was a green button that people were pressing but doesn't turn the water on again. There are bathrooms off to the side and they are absolutely disgusting. They are wet because they double as change rooms and they stink! I would rather change my kids in the car. We stopped here on a road trip and the kids had fun running around.

It is located at the oppisite of the Information Centre. It is the largest public park in brooks with all sport facilities such as bastket ball, soccer, baseball, fitness instruments, water park (splash) for the kids. There's enough picnic benches. It's kind of sport park. And it's all for free

This park has soccer field, 2 ball diamonds, playground and waterpark. There is ample parking, washrooms open seasonally and a fun hill to slide down in winter. Museum is right across the street as well and it is easy to find.

This park is a nice spot for kids to play. Lots of space to run around. The pictures make it look bigger than it is though! It's close to the highway, so easy access.

one minute off the highway, where you see the shell station and Denny's, down the road a couple of blocks, there's an outdoor museum and this beautiful park across the street called Duke of Sutherland Park. here's why it's worth it: splash water park in summer, soccer and baseball fields, exercise machines (yup, outside gym), a hill to slide down or roll down on, picnic areas, dog walk, paved walks and lots of trees and grass, ample parking, jungle gym (safe kind, etc. So get off the highway for a min, stretch your legs, and shake it up a bit. Now, for the downside. if you smell a few cows, well, this is cow and pig farm country. if you are not used to farms, you might get a whiff of where your meals come from. great time to educate the little ones, I'm thinking. Brooks is a nice place, with great people, and this Duke of Sutherland Park is more then worth a stop on your journey or as a destination.

I was here for the Hound Dog Run. I thought it was a very beautiful park. Interesting looking water park on site. It is huge in size, lots of green space.

This park has so much to offer! If you live in Brooks, or are just traveling through, the park is located just off the Trans Canada Highway and is easily accessible. It's a great place to take the kids to cool off at the splash park, or play at the handicap accessible play structures or even get in your daily dose of exercise at the outdoor fitness park. Hey, it even has two ball diamonds for the baseball/softball enthusiast!
