Went here for a gig and was pleasantly surprised. It's a tiny little room downstairs but perfect for catching a loud punk band, drinks aren't crazy expensive and the sound was decent. Nice little area off to the side for merch and the staff I spoke to were all friendly and helpful. Good stuff, I'd definitely go to other gigs here. Stage is downstairs

went to see Nell Bryden. Absolutely wonderful, what a fantastic singer and musician. Wonderful rapport and interaction with audience, we felt so lucky to have been at this show. A steal at 20stg per ticket.

I recently attended a wedding here and I was extremely disappointed with the service that was provided. Staff seemed miserable, rude and unorganised and like they did not want to be there at all apart from the female security guard on the door who was very friendly. They failed to notify the guests that they were all entitled to free drinks & coffee which had been pre paid for by the brides. Despite the management knowing that the couple getting married are vegan when I asked whether they had any milk alternatives even soy milk they said they had no options just cows milk. Toilets were dirty and the hand dryer broken.
The brides had paid for an external caterer and the guests hadn't finished eating from the buffet when staff members took this away without asking if they could do so. Guests could then see the venue staff eating the leftovers when the guests hadn't finished eating.

Don’t judge the outside to what the venue has to offer on the inside. Was here for the Gathering for Gary Moore 2018. Great night of music.

An interesting place with a bar used as a tv studio at times venue meetings auditions and music nights! A little pricey and not good for wheelchairs as there is a music bar downstairs and other loo are upstairs. Better as a venue for shows etc rather than a pop in for a drink as plenty more in the area.

We celebrated a joint 50th last weekend and it was perfect! The staff are so accommodating and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. It was beautifully decorated and carefully thought through (we were a small party and they managed to set it up so that we weren’t swamped by the space.) Thank you LMB, this is the third time I’ve attended an event here and every one has been brilliant.

We just held a Silver Wedding Anniversary party jointly with friends. It was a very special occasion and the Latest Music Bar was the perfect venue. Angi and the team were so helpful and accommodating, the food supplied by James at Renskitchen was delicious. We felt cared for from the initial enquiry all the way through to closing the party at 2.00am. Everyone loved the evening and the venue - well done all and we can only highly recommend.

Went to a friend's leaving do . Odd sort of place, the party went well the bar staff were friendly and helpful. The décor is nothing to write home about. Well located in the centre of town.

Came to see Joe Purdy here last night, after entering found a strange atmosphere and really odd layout where most people came in and assumed the venue was upstairs but it only led to the toilets.
Staff not that helpful, sound was ok but the atmosphere was dead. Won't visit again for a gig

I visited this place recently when one of my friend had a wedding party here. Its a lovely place for a live music downstair and food/dinner at the ground level. lovely staff.
