Visited here 20th October. Our first visit for a while. We had heard that Mac the chef had left for pastures new, and thought we would try the new chef's fare. Not disappointed at all, despite a reduced menu at thst time. Food was excellent. 2 fish and chips (breaded fish rather than battered) delicious!) 1 chiken burger, 1 pie, beans and chips. Then 4 coffes. Including 3 soft drinks and a glass of wine. Very reasonably priced.we were attended to by Lorraine. The place was very busy but, the attention e got from her was very quick, efficient, and polite. Well done. We will certainly be back soon.

Four of us visited here, 3rd Nov. Although it is some time, since our last visit, it was as before. Although none of us members, we received a warm welcome, excellent food, and very efficient,and pleasant service. Our meals, soups, ceasar salad, fish and chips, and club burger were all of the highest standard. We fininshed with four coffees. A total of around fifty pounds, including 2 wines, and 2 soft drinks. Excellent value for money. The lady who served us, was very helpful, and attentive. Worth a visit. We will certainly be back.

Firstly can i thank Jimmy and the committee for allowing us the use of the hall for our wedding, it was amazing. From start to finish we were so well looked after. Julie and her team are so friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble.The meal and later the buffet were first class, a massive Thank You to Mack and Derek. The atmosphere was so good the stewards actually commented on it. From our first meeting with Joanne and Julie we knew we had picked the right venue. Thank you to everyone who played a part in our unforgettable day, you are a credit to your Club. We would highly recommend.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Although it was fairly busy, we experienced, excellent and efficient service, from the young lady on duty. To be honest it is always been the same in here. Food was tasty, and as always, well presented. This was my friends first visit, and he was well impressed. Diners around us also made very favourable comments. Our bill for 2 courses, 2 soft drinks and 2 pints of lager, a very reasonable £29. Great value!! Well done to all.

Oh dear we’ve been for several xmas lunches in surrounding areas this was the worst this cook continually tries his best in his words to change peoples palates m sorry your gravy with silver skin onions was terrible with roast beef soggy roast tatties overcook veg and miserable portions for the price pensioners might be happy with 1 very thinly sliced roast beef very few overcooked veg your dessert with mulled wine was totally drowned in the stuff totally inedible far superior meals and portions elsewhere in the area were marvellous you need to go out there and sample what other restaurants are offering sorry we won’t be eating here again until the cook either does good home cooking or gets another position elsewhere sorry but true

Visited here today. First since restrictions lifted. As always a warm greeting by staff. Opted for two courses. My friend had soup of the day ( lentil) I had Ceasar salad. Our mains were steak pie and club burger with salad. We followed up with coffees. The bill a very reasonable £30. Food is delicious and very well presented. Met the chef on way out, and was impressed by a very clean, and organised kitchen. He advised me of a Greek tasting night, in the near future. Sounds like one not to be missed.

Visited here 28th may, just after area on level 2
Four of us shown straight to a table, even though fairly busy. Food excellent, lots of new dishes since our last visit. This chef has real imagination, dishes like Kiatsui curry, tachos Vietnam, and all the old favourites. All very well presented. The young lady who served us, was very polite and pleasant. Thouroughly enjoyed our visit. Will return next week. Well worth a visit for anyone.
