“Poor sound”

시네월드 에든버러에서 시네마 6에서 배트맨을 보러 갔는데 대화중 소리가 너무 끔찍하고 너무 조용해서 영화를 보기 힘들고 옆사람도 별로라고 동의해서 직원에게 50분 보고했습니다 이 3시간짜리 영화에 들어갔지만 아무것도 바뀌지 않았으며 좋은 경험은 아닙니다.

Poor sound

Went to see The Batman in cinema 6 at Cineworld Edinburgh, the sound during dialogue was terrible, too quiet making it difficult to enjoy the movie, people next to us also agreed that it was poor, I reported it to a member of staff 50 minutes in to this 3 hour film but nothing changed, not a good experience .

Too dark

Hard to put a proper rating as I have a very specific problem. Everything about it was good. Staff, temperature cleanliness. But BIG problem overtakes. I go at least once a week, usually more. All the films, all the screens, all the days are ALWAYS TOO DARK. Initially thought it was just me, but friends have agreed. Seriously spolied my enjoyment to the extent I am considering cancelling my Unlimited membership. When I stream the same films at home, picture so much clearer. So frustrating

The movie was okay but the sound isn’t great and the people around. The cinema should announce before the movie starts for the people to eat when it is appropriate. I’ll never go back to that cinema for sure.

Best cineworld I’ve visited and I’ve been a fair few as an unlimited card holder went to multiple screens across the week the screens were all extremely large in comparison to other cineworlds with a larger amount of seats. The seats themselves I personally found much comfier and loved how they leaned back compared to the standard cineworld seating. The staff were also extremely efficient and served food and drink much more efficiently than average and were friendly at all times.

Amazing customer service from Sarah today

I just wanted to say a big massive thank you to Sarah (Supervisor/manager) who helped me today with the vouchers I was having issues with.

Sarah’s customer service was amazing and a credit to the cineworld team. We really enjoyed our movie Peter rabbit 2, I have to agree with some other reviews about the seats, or would be better when you recline them that they stay in place, otherwise you have to put you feet on the ground and really push back or they will sling forward. Wonder if they just need some maintenance? But apart from that they are comfy.
Will definitely be back again very soon for our next movie fix :)

Refurbished seating has ruined the experience

Been a Cineworld member for a few years now, but seriously contemplating packing it in. Been a couple of times since recent refurbishment, and not enjoyed it one little bit. If you are anything over a size 38 waist, then it's going to be cramped. The new seating is terrible. I have a bad back as it is ... over two hours in these seats and it's agony.

How to ruin a perfectly good cinema.

Went to see Jumanji, left shortly after arriving due to the new 'refurbished' seats. Very very uncomfortable, clearly not designed for humans. My partner has back problems and pain issues, she couldn't sit for 10 minutes never mind 2 hours, due to having to continually having to push back to recline (upright position is very uncomfortable too). Strange they didnt add a lock function when you get the position you find comfy.

Have cancelled membership and will be going to Vue/Odeon in the future, unless this is addressed.

Used to be good

The new red seats are awful! The recline doesn’t lock in place so your seat is constantly moving back to its original position (bolt upright) My back was sore after nearly two hours in that seat. For the amount you pay for a ticket, I’d expect better! Probably won’t be back as a result. Used to be my favourite cinema too. Very disappointed.

Used to be reasonable

This has changed a lot, which will probably explain the price increase. Fairly clean, even the toilets. Snacks are pretty expensive too. I guess I would say this is good for one-off visits or special occasions. If you're a regular cinema-goer, I would recommend Vue Cinemas, prices are still reasonable at £4.99, even the snacks are affordable, making the enjoyment of going to the cinema a pleasure and not a break the bank day out!
