We visited this council-run soft play (not a playground, but TripAdvisor doesn't recognise soft play/children's cafe/play centre/anything else children-related in its categories) last weekend. Despite arriving before 10am on a Saturday, the car park was completely full, and we ended up having to park in a supermarket car park. If you're disabled, don't bother going - the pavement running alongside the building is extremely narrow in places, so you can't navigate it in a wheelchair or on crutches.
On arrival, we were told the soft play was full and we'd have to wait half an hour. We sat down and were called a few minutes later over the tannoy to the reception desk. Having paid, we went in, only to discover there were no seats available. I am currently on crutches, so this was far from ideal. When a staff member did find us a table, we tried to order some toast, but were told they didn't do toast (even though it was on the menu) but they did do toasties.
On the upside, the soft play itself is large, clean, well-appointed and provided excellent entertainment for two five-year-olds. The PA system is often inaudible above the hubbub of children, which isn't ideal since your visit is time-limited, so keep an eye on your watch.
