Kingsbury Water Park is a great place to take the children and have a family picnic. Hire the great bikes and explore the park and wildlife. Watching the jet skis rocketing around the lake is always fun for the little ones.

Nice scenery with plenty of space, different walking routes and lots of wildlife - this would have been a 4 or 5 star review.
What a shame about the management, who seem to have no regard for the environment or health and safety of visitors. I was shocked to see heavy-handed applications of Glyphosate stump remover plugs at dozens of sites surrounding & entering the pools, including next to a playground - not only is this dangerous, but it's also illegal!
PLEASE BEWARE: If you let your children stray from the paths, pick up sticks or enter the water, then they risk direct contact with this toxic herbicide.

We were staying at the campsite and so it is an easy walk away.
Unfortunately the railway and some of the toilets were closed, so you do need to hold it in!
The park is lovely and peaceful at this time of year and we were lucky to see a small herd of what we believe were muntjac deer as we walked through the park.

We park our car at pear tree car park in Kingsbury and walk into the park past the church and over the river bridge. The park has lovely walks around the many pools, there is fishing, children activity playground, a miniature train ride. Lovely cafe and visitor centre, worth a visit

Disappointed the train wasn’t working-had to go back another day to catch train. Website said last train was 4.15 but on the day the last train was 2.45 leaving us no time for the playground.

Ok, so we visited for bank holiday this week… and wished we hadn’t. It was rubbish. Overpriced parking, sod all to do really apart from enter the overcrowded play park for kids, mainly teenagers taking over the younger children’s play apparatus, or trying to destroy the only swing for wheelchair users in the park. Disgusting behaviour! The ice man is rude. The cafe was overrun and a queue right out the door, so it would of took ages to get served. The toilets, OMG don’t get me started on those! Only 3 toilets per 100+
visitors is absolutely disgusting. The toilets themselves, all I can say is ‘eww’. They smelled so bad, mainly of fishy fanjitas & bum juice. They had no loo roll, then a male care taker came in while women are on the loo demanding everyone gets out the way, so he can fill up the loo rolls. The cubicles are tiny, can’t even swing your cat in them! The long wait time to use the loo was ridiculous and another queue of around 20 or so women and children. Me and my 2 daughters used one cubicle so not to crowd the loos even further, and my eldest daughter refused to use them because of how bad it smelled in them. Me and my daughters had to held our noses, or we found ourselves wretching. The shop is rubbish, it’s all just old, overpriced stuff, that no one wants. The whole place needs to be updated and a revamp. What they’re charging for parking, the £4.50 per car, they should have enough to sort the loos out & make more toilets or bigger toilet facilities. Sort the cafe out & make it bigger for everyone. More disabled play apparatus and make it so it’s only available to disabled children. Not nasty little bratty kids who want to destroy the swing that’s there. Their parents should be so proud (I don’t think)!! I don’t think we’ll be visiting again any time soon. Such a boring day out! Our picnic was nice, although several people playing ball games decided to kick or throw their balls where other visitors where enjoying their picnics. So selfish and inconsiderate. We’ll go Tamworth park next time! It’s far nicer.

one of the nicest places to go on a sunny day. got there and we were worried about the parking as i didn't have my card on me and the machines didn't take apple pay. i went into the customer services centre and they were very helpful and let me pay there. there is a nice walk into the local town as well as a play area and ice cream van around the park.

Large acreage of land, which is nice enough to walk around, however it's unfathomable that people are not allowed to use their own kayaks or paddle boards, with some nonsense about Weil's disease and underwater hazards.
All lakes are natural water, as are the lochs in Scotland, the Cwms in Wales, they are all subject to hazards and natural waterborne dangers. Like most users commenting on the ridiculous restriction on usage of the lakes, we use our equipment in numerous places across the UK, including Chase Water (which has free parking), which sensibly has provided for private launch and numerous other places to launch.
There's no other reasonable explanation for this restriction other than licensing/business fee they gain from the businesses that use the lakes, therefore restricting the public, so those business can maintain their cottage industry.

Poor parking system , we travelled over an hour with 5 excited Grandchildren to have a lovely day out snd a picnic or so we thought ! Couldn’t get any of our debit cards to work at any of the machines and they don’t take Applepay .. why ? So in summary looks like a great place but we wouldn’t know as we couldn’t stay ..
Result 5 tearful small children because they could see the play area but couldn’t play in it .

its free to use a kayak on Mitchells Pool, but you would need to transport it up there and not use the pool when the pedal boats concession is on there during school holidays and sometimes weekends. Best check first before coming down 01827 872660

no, you are not allowed overnight here. However, if you are still in the park after closing time, you can still get out over the dragons teeth on the exit road.
The police do occasionally patrol round.
