The place is beautiful.the restoration of the castle is superbly thought.mixing the old with modern techniques. Simple, uncluttered. adorable and available staff. willing to share their historical and technical knowledge. Must-see when staying in the area.

This majestic castle was built between the 13th and 15th centuries in Sarzeau. It was one of the favourite residences of the Dukes of Brittany.
The visit of the Domaine de Suscinio is free and I recommend the presentation of the domain made by an animator in the courtyard of the castle. This allows us to know the history of the domain.

Beautiful site superbly restored very playful interactive visit. Out of season Things to do outside did not take place but we could easily imagine the Things to do for young and old I recommend

Beautiful discovery!!
The castle is superb, the visit is informative and interactive, we have adults as children had a great day. After visiting the interior, Things to do outdoors allow to extend the tour, the boat tour around the moat was great!! A few animals, games for children, a snack... enough to spend several hours without seeing time pass!

Beautiful castle.
The tour of the estate is very interesting and informative.
The different workshops are very attractive for children.
We also stayed for the evening show.
The wait was very long (2h)
The waiting music was fine but with the world and the little seating you don't have to move if you want to keep them.
So we can't go see the other animations.
They should be grouped on the central terplain.
Because the juggler must have been very beautiful to see.
On the other hand, once the show begins, we take full eyes.
The show is just grand..

Beautiful chateau ,we went with 3 little ones and activities for children well thought out ,dressing yp ,biscuit making ,old fashioned games , petting farm ,projector screen inside with king Arthur stories, round table with info.avout the knights.,qr code to change it to.english ,little cafes around and.bot far to the beach.either ,a real bargain as kids under 10 free 12 for adults

Reservations made online, we came to the entrance of the show, asking for my brother, disabled and unable to stay in prolonged standing position, the possibility of entering before the official opening, finally that he can sit waiting for us to meet him as soon as the doors open. We were told that this was impossible, as the instructions received from the site management expressly prohibit it. It is unacceptable for a tourist site to engage in such conduct, it is physical violence and it is reprehensible. My brother turned around and went home, and of course, the refund of his entrance ticket was refused, we expected no less from the organization!!! Disabled friends, flee this place that does nothing to welcome you, except reserve 6 wooden planks for you as seats, the Roman galleys were surely more comfortable.

I went to visit in a small group by chance, but it was worth it. Charming and well preserved. It can be visited inside for payment. As we arrived late, we could not make the visit to the interior, but the doorman was very friendly and let us access the store. very close, there are shops, m restaurant, wc and a ice cream store.

Hello
the nearest bus station from the chateau is 6 km away; in Sarzeau towncenter.
Quite a long walk but you can hire bicycles in Sarzeau for 12€ fro a day and 8€ for 1/2 day.

As said previously and kindly by Caroleem4, the Château is open all year round except on the 24th, 25th, 31rst of december and 1st january.
in 2015:
2pm to 5pm from November to January
2pm to 6pm in February, March and October
10am to 7pm from April to September.
Last admission one hour before closing.

Bonjour,
Tout dépend du type de visite que vous recherchez.
10h30: visite pour les 7-12 ans "La vie de Château"
11h: visite pour les 4-6 ans "C'est quoi le Moyen-Age"
11h: visite guidée d'1h30
14h30: Visite guidée d' 1h30
15h30: Visite guidée " découvrir Suscinio en famille" (avec manipulations, mises en situation)
16h30: Visite guidée d'1h30
Il y a effectivement des suppléments sur ces visites:
Les animations pour les enfants sont à 5€ (entrée château comprise) . Attention, elles sont sur réservation.
Les visites guidées d'1h30 et la visite en famille sont proposé avec un supplément de 2€.

How can I go to the chateau of Suscino without a car ?
Is there any public transportation ?

Hello,
There is public transportation between Vannes and Sarzeau village but nothing between the village and the Château. But you can hire a bicycle in Sarzeau village and enjoy the trip to the Château in a beautiful landscape.
To be true, it is the only way to reach the Château without a car.
