I am not the type of person who usually writes reviews, which is why it has taken me almost a year to write this. But almost a year later, our tour with Valario is something we talk about every time we get together as a family, we made memories that will last a lifetime!
A little bit about the tour - the van was air conditioned and very nice. Umbrellas were provided since it was raining. Each stop to see historical landmarks Valario gave us plenty of direction and let us explore. The winery was amazing, we are still getting olive oil and wine shipped to our home. We went to the cutest local gelato shop.
Valario was the reason our tour was so special. He was friendly, talkative, knowledgeable and truly passionate about providing us with the best experience!
Valario - if you still want to visit Kansas and be a guest at our wedding, let me know :)

A family vacation with our grown kids and their spouses. Their favorite!!!!
Valario met us at the dock with Umbrellas (raining) and as soon as we got in the van he set us up with his wifi. We drove to Pisa, Lucca, the winery with homemade foods to go with the different wines. Then he took us to his favorite gelato place (in a gas station.... it was a hidden treasure).
He covered all the details of the area, towns, etc.
What a memorable experience

We had a party of four (my sister, my aunt, our elderly mother and myself). Since our mom can not walk too far, we have decided to hire a private tour guide for our excursion tour to Florence and Pisa. We had a terrific tour with our guide Verlerio. We couldn’t be more happier with his professionalism and thoughtfulness.
He held a sign at the cruise terminal exit gate with my name on it. I had no problem spotting him right away. After only about 15 minutes of chatting in the van, he has already sensed that my sister loves seeing old churches and so he stopped by couple churches and a monastery along the way. We all enjoyed those additional stops very much. He was also very thoughtful and very attentive to our elderly mom. He made sure our mom had chances to have bathroom breaks (our mom’s first priority, even before all those wondering sightseeing places).

Italy Shore Drivers made our trip so much better. Highly recommend. MAE was great with all my email questions when making our reservations for several different locations. David was our Rome driver and was excellent. In Livornia, our friends went to Florence and Valereo took my husband and I to Pisa and Lucca. Our drivers met up and we experienced a fabulous Tuscany wine tasting at Carmignani.

We arranged a customized tour of Pisa and Florence for a group of 12 adults which included two vans driven by Giovanni and Valerio. The Mercedes vans were safe, beautiful, and comfortable and the guys arrived before we got off of the ship in the Livorno port which allowed us to take off right away. The tour was absolutely fantastic! They kept us on schedule all day and we saw all of the sites that we expected to see. Pisa was great and Florence was amazing. On the way back, we stopped at a Tuscany winery which was like icing on the cake. We tasted some wines and ate bread drenched in olive oil and seasoning and, of course, purchased our favorite wines to be shipped home by the winery. We picked some grapes off of the vines and tasted them! We were all very happy with the tour and highly recommend it.

We cruised the Italian coast with stops in Florence, Rome and Naples with Italy Shore Drivers and had a great time. We were greeted by our smiling and knowledgeable drivers at each port with our name on a printed sign, then off to our private van with ice cold air, enjoying skipping the long lines of cruise travelers waiting for the buses.
Our drivers, Teresa in Florence/Pisa, Mateo in Rome, and Carmine in Naples each added their unique flair and stories that made our experience unforgettable. Their expertise and ability to get us close to attractions was amazing, the skip the line tickets were invaluable. Each driver also recommended an excellent place for lunch and later gelatos that we felt were where the locals ate, not tourist traps. The meals were out of this world delicious. The views we got to see with the help of our drivers made our trip truly memorable.
They got up back to the ship with plenty of time to spare after fantastic days. The whole experience from booking to the actual tours were completed by wonderful people who care about their country, customers and are highly recommended.

We were promptly picked up from the shore. it was a private tour for 6 adult and 2 young children. Our guide in Florence (Christina) was outstanding and kids friendly

Working with Italy Shore Drivers has been fabulous. From great customer service with booking to an amazing full-day private tour of Rome, we couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. Our driver Francesco was awesome. In addition to the major sites, e took us to several out of the way places and gave us the history with intrigue and humor and directed us to a fabulous local restaurant for lunch. Our day was exceptional from start to end. Thank you ISD!

We enjoyed our Mediterranean cruise in May with stops in Greece, Italy and France.
Our Italian experience couldn’t have been better and we owe it to Italy Shore Drivers. From the booking process and Mae's recommendations, our small group of 4 were totally satisfied with our excursions. We took 3 private shore trips while in Italy and all went very smoothly. Each driver was prompt, courteous, very knowledgeable with the area providing great information and above all accommodating to our likes. Italy was our favourite on this trip and I believe that was due to the excellent small group shore trips that were arranged with Italy Shore Drivers.
I highly recommend contacting Italy Shore Drivers when planning your Italy tours.

We booked ISD twice during our cruise, Pisa and Florence with mike and Rome with Gianni ?
Both days were fabulous, their knowledge was excellent they sorted A private guide and tickets for the Vatican. Took us to the best gelato shops. All attractions they dropped us within a few feet and we beat the crowds.
I can recommend and endorse all the previous reviews

We will be arriving from a cruise ship September and there will be 4 of us looking for a company to take us from the port to Rome, Florence and Naples (3 different days). Is this something that Italian Shore Drivers can do? If they can, do we need to book tourist spots on our own?
