This garden in the summer months is the place to be, if you want quietness and to be left alone, I have spent many a time here, the park workers really put them selves out to accommodate most people, even if you are just walking through, or on a morning jog, it's lovely.

A green and peaceful memorial to the foibles of war. Close to the river and well worth the walk. I even picked up some artisitc ideas for my own garden.

Not the best weather to be sure but always a lovely place for a stroll or a vigorous walk.Perfect location to park your car or easy walking from center.In another month it’s a great place to pick wild onion not to be mistaken as wild garlic but also very good and makes a great pesto.

After walking into Listowel from the bridge, the riverside walk was quiet and peaceful. The gardens are well maintained and it's a good place to while away. Quality sculpture

Experience not too passed up. Originally a quarry in 1800s, used has a landfill and converted to a garden containing plants, flowers trees and sculptures from around Europe

Just by the side of the town park is THE GARDEN OF EUROPE. It has trees and shrubs from all European countries. Ther is the bust of Schiller, a gift to Listowel from the German people. Carved in stone is a verse from Shiller's famous composition, Ode to Joy. The garden contains Ireland's only public monument to the memory of the Holocaust. It has a great sculpture of famous playwright John B. Keane, whose favourite walk was to stroll along the path next to the lovely carpet of wild garlic that runs beside the Garden of Europe.

Small park that ajoins the main park in Listowel town, Sculpture of Schiller and a monument to both the holocaust and to victims of repression. Lovely plants and shrubs from around Europe. Their is also a lovely visual sculpture to John B Keane amazing author from the town. Very well maintained and lovely place for quiet reflection

We had a lovely walk around the garden of Europe. The main thing we thought about it was "why". Don't get me wrong, the gardens are lovely and have interesting sculptures and memorials, but Listowel is not what one thinks of when imagining Europe.
