This is a lovely gallery located in the middle of Listowel, owned and run by local artist Olive Stack. I had passed it several times over the years when in Listowel, but never gone inside ... until I had to drop off two artworks for the exhibition entitled Wild Atlantic Way, which will be launched during the upcoming Listowel Visual Arts Week (20th-24th of June).
I liked how the gallery spaced is organised, and in particular, how it's lit. Clearly Olive knows a thing or two about lighting spaces .... I'll be back there again.

I love this little gallery, Olive always makes time to chat about her recent works. Recently I met an American there who was a visiting artist staying with Olive and sharing ideas. A whole new beginning and insight in to other people's work. Great idea. Originals and prints available and something to suit everyone.

Olive Stack is an accomplished artist and she paints a variety of subjects....some influenced by Listowel town and some informed by Venice, Italy.
She has large pieces painted of famous local writers. Gorgeous work that peaks to the soul.
Her paintings of Listowel town are ghrat. Prints can be bought.

Olive Stack's gallery is inviting the moment you see the joyful blue trim of the entrance! Inside the gallery is a lovely collection of colorful pieces created by Olive. You will also find a variety of work created by artists who have participated in her artist residence program. The space is light and the energy is warm and welcoming. Olive is an amazing artist and shares her love of her lovely community and beautiful surroundings through her art work and by welcoming artists all over the world to spend time creating and falling in love with this very special place!!! I cannot wait to return! Highly recommend visiting Olive Stack Gallery!!!

A light-filled, spacious venue where I attended a great weekend workshop learning to use stained glass from a visiting artist. I highly recommend!

Olive Stack Gallery is a beautiful gallery situated on Main Street in the heart of Listowel and features the artwork of it's proprietor, Olive Stack. The gallery carries original paintings (in a variety of mediums) as well as limited edition prints depicting the town of Listowel, nearby Ballybunion and the major landmarks of North Kerry. A stop at Olive Stack Gallery is sure to make your visit to Listowel complete!!

I visited Ireland in May of 2017 thanks to an artist residency program offered by Olive Stack, which my mother took part in. Over the course of a week I spent much time in this gallery, and not only is the art on display positively inspiring, colorful, and in a variety of price ranges, but Olive is an absolute dear who fits right in the landscape of lovely Listowel. Located right in the heart of a town, it's a definite must-see!

I love to visit when I'm in Ireland to see what's been capturing Olive's eye as she works in her garden. Her use of color is exquisite and the subject matter joyous. Always a great delight.
