What an awesome day we had in the estuary with Jake! Even with the weather having other ideas about us going to the outer reefs, we still had the best time in the estuary! Which fished extremely well, would highly recommend Excced Fishing and would recommend giving the estuary a crack if the weather doesn’t allow you to head offshore.

Good communication, flexible. Jake was friendly without being invasive. He took us to several different spots and we caught a variety of fish. Beautiful sunny day and the boat is super clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend.

How easy going and friendly Jake the owner is. My family have all been out on numerous trips and Jake always puts you onto good fish and makes the day a fun experience cant recommend this charter enough. Good value for money

Such an amazing day..
Could not recommend Exceed Fishing more.. had so much fun and caught a lot of fish.. it was a beautiful boat and Jake was such an amazing host.. this is something me and my family will never forget.. I can’t wait to book my next fishing trip with Exceed Fishing.. It was the highlight of our holiday..

My dad and I had a fantastic New Years day out with Jake! Putting us onto some great spots, catching PLENTY of big fish and my first GT. We had an all round great day out with the weather being perfect for the new year. Couldn't recommend anyone better for a fishing day in Port Douglas! Steve and Matt from WA.

Jake is a legend, been out with him a number of times.

We had an absolutely awesome day out on exceed sportfishing, the boat is clean, comfortable and powerful, the high sides of the vessel made us all feel safe from the moment we stepped onboard. I can't rate the operation highly enough from the fully stocked esky of drinks to the quality fishing spots we were taken to. This is a charter that will put you on the fish, any time we were not catching we were moving to a new spot to catch some more!! We ended up with enough fish for all onboard for dinner and getting the chance to release the ones we didn't need made this a true sportsfishing experience. I would advise booking well in advance with the best months to fish the reef being November -December due to the variable winds(calm seas) However the fishing is good year round, Port Douglas has an endless summer! The price was very reasonable for what we got to experience, we saw remote sand cays, whales and sea turtles and of course caught alot of fish predominantly Large mouth nannigai. Forget the rest go with the best!

Fantastic experience. Jake was friendly, knowledgeable and made the day a comfortable and enjoyable experience. He's a genuinely nice bloke and he knows his stuff. Highly recommend a day out with Exceed Sportfishing.
