Our host was Lila and she was fantastic!! She highlighted many areas of the city and spots that we should visit/see while in Bratislava. Lila is very knowledgeable about everything Bratislava and spoke about life here under Communist rule. Very educational!! We visited many restaurants/bars and enjoyed traditional Slovak foods, snacks and drinks.

We had the best day with Terezia! It was so much fun and really interesting. And of course the food was absolutely delicious. It was just like spending a day with a friend (a very organised and knowledgeable friend 😊) Loved it- highest possible recommendation!

Amazing.
Best start of a weekend in a new town ever! Our guide, Terezka, was happy, informative, funny and personal throughout the tour. Always smiling.
We really enjoyed this tour.
We went back to several places and also bought some of the stuff we were served to bring home.

Gids Lila heeft ons meegenomen door Bratislava langs verschillende plaatsen waar we lokale gerechten hebben geproefd, erg leuk en lekker!
Daarbij veel uitleg over het eten en de achtergrond ervan. Je krijgt veel te eten, we hebben van te voren niet hoeven lunchen en daarna ook geen diner meer op.

Lila was an excellent guide. Knowledgeable not only about the food, but also about the history and culture of Slovakia.
We were taken to places that we would not have found, and ate some classic Slovak dishes paired with local drinks. Too many good things to eat, with too little time. I would have liked to spend a little more time exploring the food market.
Suggest that you do this early in your trip, as it gives tips and options for lots of other meals and places to see. An added bonus was the travel tips from others on the tour.
This tour is a must do!

We do food tours in many of the new cities we visit. This tour was exceptional. I can’t say enough about our guide, Lila. She is so personable, knowledgeable, and caring. We loved her and learned so much from her about Bratislava’s culture. We visited great food venues. Everything we had was tasty and authentic- the hot chocolate at the pancake restaurant may be the best thing I’ve ever had! We took our time at each stop and had time to savor the food and talk about the culture. It was a terrible way to spend a day in Bratislava and is highly recommended.

Lila was amazing and did a wonderful job in blending history, food and culture of the people. Amazing selection of food stop, delicacies and exceptional quality. Time flew by and we enjoyed every bit of it.

My partner and I had a great experience with our guide, Lila, at the Christmas food tour! Lila indulged us into a variety of food and drink delicacies while narrating us their history and traditions! This is a wonderful way to immerse into the Slovakian culture while having tons of fun! I will definitely recommend to colleagues, friends and family!

This food tour was an excellent way to spent one day in Bratislava with a little bit of food and a lot of culture (one can only take so many museum tours).
Lila gave us the full tour during the first snow of the season. We couldn't see much due to low visibility, but she made up for that with plenty of stories. The food itself was varied and accompanied by plenty of information on Slovakian history and culture.
Highly recommend!

Who knew I would like Sauerkraut soup so much? But isn’t that point of trying things you have never tried? Linda was an amazing guide! She is so positive, accommodating, and in love with her country. What an amazing tour!
