What an absolute shame. This beach could be a worldly if it weren’t for the amount of rubbish. Once the tide has gone out there’s a huge line of plastic as far as the eye can see.
We were praised by a local chap for picking some of it up but I didn’t see one other person do the same.
It just needs the tractor to go along and scoop it up like it does in other countries.
The local government really needs to get its priorities straight or tourists won’t bother coming. It’s a pit sadly.

Plage salle des soit disant photographe vous prennent en photo et cela est tristement interdit par la loi serai bien que la police touristique interdisent je comprend pas qu'on laisse faire des crotte de dromadaire sur la plage des chiens erent qui font aussi leurs besoin sur la plage en faite on est jamais tranquille à agadir plage même pour manger ce vraiment dommage je retournerais que à Marrakech beaucoup mieux rien à voir

Agadir beach is wonderful. The sand is so soft and clean, there a sunloungers and shades to rent if you are not staying in a hotel that has a dedicated section. The beach is next to the strip that has a string of restaurants and shops. The perfect location to flop and drop.

J’ai connu des plages plus propres et plus agréables. Beaucoup de déchets, de mégots et crottes de dromadaires et de morceaux de verre dans le sable.
Il faut juste faire attention là où on met les pieds et la serviette.
Les jet skis évoluent au milieu des nageurs. Cela n’incite pas vraiment à la baignade.

Beautiful promenade, lovely to walk along the stretch and see the camels 😎
The only irritant was the amount of people hassling you to purchase their items.

Heureusement nous bénéficions de la plage Privee de l’hôtel. Mais pour aller se baigner il fallait traverser un »camp de nomades » constitués de parasols douteux et tentes….sans parler des détritus immondes qui étaient présents partout. C’était à vous dégoûter et je ne vous parle m’embêtas des crottes de chameaux…Agadir je n’y remettrai jamais les pieds
J’y ai séjourné en 2018/2019 et cela a bien changé en très très mal
Quel dommage et voire toutes ses femmes habillées aller faire trempette ce n’est pas agréable

Didnt see any camels. There were some at the top of kasbah, but probably get ripped off. We booked a camel excursion with admiremorocco, was well worth it.

Hi, we just spent 2 days there (beginning of July) - it was reaching 27C during the day and going bit below 20C during the late afternoon/night. Agadir is not as windy as most of the other places on Moroccan coast (30km/h being normal), still, there is a significant breeze. It was sunny and a bit windy most of the time.

No! I is not safe to swim there. My husband drowned in the sea in Agadir on November 30, 2018. I myself was rescued. We both are (were) excellent swimmers. There are very dangerous undercurrents (riptides?) there. I know what I am talking about because I had to bury my husband in Germany after his dead body had been returned. So please, take care!

Hi, we spent 3 nights in Agadir, as a base to visit other near by towns and attractions. We spent a full day in Agadir and were completely safe. The locals are friendly when approached, but generally keep themselves to themselves. We will be travelling to Agadir again in late June to visit other places such as Tagahzout and Taroudant. I hope you have a good trip.
