While strolling on AC boardwalk, I saw this.
The Korean Conflict, 1950-1953, the nation's only undeclared war, claimed more than 36,000 American lives. Approximately 7,600 service personnel remain unaccounted for.
It was created to ensure that future generations remember and honor the pride and dedication of those who served, the legacy they continued, and the freedom they preserved.
Memorial featuring bronze figures of heroic proportions, representing the servicemen and women who fought in Korea. The most memorable is the 12-foot high "Mourning Soldier" who is clutching several dog tags and remembering his lost comrades.
Also represented are a soldier and nurse helping a wounded soldier and two battlefield reliefs behind sheets of water cascading into reflecting pools. Beneath an eternal flame is a wall bearing the names of all New Jersey service members killed or missing in action, as well as a wall honoring the five New Jersey servicemen who were awarded the Medal of Honor for heroism in Korea.

This is a beautiful memorial on the Atlantic City boardwalk. It has a nice seating area. You can see all of the armed forces flags next to it

We tend to come here whenever we are in Atlantic City.

Nice tribute to the soldiers that fought in the Korean War. It is down by Brighton Park area I recommend just seeing. We learned about local soldiers that received medal of honor as well

Can't miss this as it's right on the Boardwalk, located at Park Place. The sculptures are very good. What was more striking to me was the amount of names on the Memorial Wall. Not being an American, I wasn't aware of the high number of causalities this conflict. Worth a visit for sure

could use some love and attention as the voice activated items are showing a lot of wear and there was also trash blowing around, and evidently someone lost a sneaker.

What a wonderful and moving memorial. We had read about this in a New Jersey travel guide and wanted to see it. You can tell a lot of thought went into the making of this. The soldier is holding dog tags (we presume from a fallen soldier.)
