내가 송탄시에 갔던 유일한 이유는 오산 AB에서 아들을 만나기 위해서였습니다. 군대와 다른 방문객에게 봉사하기 위해 많은 양의 술집, 식당, 복장, 신발 등을 파는 곳이 많이있었습니다. 맞춤 양복을 사기 좋은 곳. 어떤 문화 보석이 있는지 확실하지 않은 곳은 여기 하루 반 밖에 없었습니다. 여기에 도착해야하는 경우 버스를 이용하십시오. 그것은 단지 2를 멈추고, 꽤 싸다. 열차보다 시간이 덜 걸립니다. .

The only reason I went to Songtan City was to visit my son at Osan AB. There were plenty of bars, restaurants, and places selling suits, shoes, etc., to serve a military base and other visitors. Great place to buy a custom suit. Not sure if there are any cultural gems, was only here a day and a half. If you need to get here, take the bus. It only makes a stop or 2, and is pretty cheap. Will even take less time than the train..

OK I've rated it at three stars but I love this place. However it's not to everyones taste. It's basically bars with clubs and restaurants. That's it. If you want a crazy weekend then you'd be hard pushed to find a more individualistic city, but if you want a nice peaceful holiday look elsewhere.
(And Yes I will be flying in there again ... regularly)

A visit back to Songtan City, South Korea

I returned to Korea on my way back from the Philippines and found Songtan City a great place compared to what it was back in the 1980's. It is home to Osan Air Base and I'm sure many of those serving in our armed forces have been there even if just passing through. Great shopping (still) and super restaurants. Very safe and accommodating. I recommend it over Seoul as prices are generally better than in Seoul. Happy travels!

Bus from Incheon Airport to Songtan (Osan Air Base)

Instead of renting a car that would sit in my hotel parking lot, I took the bus from Incheon Int'l Airport to Songtan Bus Terminal (Osan Air Base). This could not have been easier and more convenient. At the airport, outside of door 8A on the first floor, I purchased a ticket for 11,200 Won or about $10 - $11. The bus picks you up right at 8A so you buy the ticket right where the bus is. Nice bus - comfortable. About an hour and a half ride with only one stop in between at Osan City Bus terminal. If you're going to Osan Air Base, you would get off at Songtan Terminal - the second stop. Taxis are right there and for about $3 you can catch a ride to either the base or any number of nearby hotels. I used the same method to return to the airport a couple of days later.
