You can touch and feed the animal there! We spent a long of time to understand the species' habits, the park size is not huge but they did a very good job on caring the plants and animal. Some of the animals there could even walk around freely. It's a bit petty we don't have time to eat at their restaurant, the merchant and food are so cute.
Even we are all adults, we enjoy exploring around and it's fun that animals like peacocks are just next to you. We are so close to each other, and i think the kids will love this unique experience in Ito.

I thought it was a really bad zoo. The animals live in small, dirty rooms completly made out of stone and some of them didn't have anything green inside their cell.
Their was a petting zoo an the rabbit was dirty, his fur hat wet spots and it was really skinny. Some animals were in cages which were way to small! Everywhere inside the petting zoo were insects (i think for the lemures to catch) but it just seemed dirty.
They hat owls sitting on sticks without prober security from humans so I saw a guy blowing at an owl so the animal would do something.
I general I almost cried and pitied every single animal in their small, dirty stone cages.

何度か訪れていますが、毎回クオリティに感心します。
ユーモラスなスタッフと動物たちが織り成すショー、カピバラを筆頭にいろいろな動物と餌やりやふれあいが楽しめる体験コーナーの充実、園内を自由に動き回る鳥や猿たち、やたらとマニアックだけど最後は必ずサボテンが買いたくなる温室、おもわず買いたくなるバリエーションに富んだおみやげ、値段は遊園地価格だけど味もボリュームもしっかりしたレストランなど、全体的に素晴らしいと思ってます。伊豆高原に行く時はなんとなーく行きたくなってしまう動物園です。
このクオリティをぜひともずっと維持し続けてもらいたいです。

子供の頃に行ったきりでしたが、思ったより楽しめました。
犬はリードで歩けるし、動物も慣れているのか攻撃されたりもなく。
孔雀やリスザルは放し飼いで、普通に木の上にいたり、そばを歩きます。
フクロウもすぐそばで見れるし、カピバラには触れる、餌やりも楽しく、ペンギンに餌やりできるのは驚きでした。
カワウソに餌やりしましたが、待っているところも可愛くて。
ここはまた来たいと思えました。
ショーも楽しかった。

伊豆に行ったら絶対行く、私にはマストの動物園。今まで行った中で1番好き！なにがというとカワウソのご飯あげ。カワウソ好きにはたまらないはず・・・他にもカンガルーが放し飼い、そして1番有名はカピバラさんの露天風呂。今回初めて見ました。ゆったりしてていい動物園です。

子供ができてから初の来園。
3歳までは無料ですが大人はどこかでクーポンで購入した方が安いです。
タイムズクラブの割引が一番安いですがカードが来るのに3週間かかるので早めの取得をおすすめします。（今回間に合いませんでした）
前回ハシビロコウを見て楽しんだので子どもと鳥ゾーンを探したのですがどうやら死んでしまっていたらしく残念でした。
それほど広いわけでもなく恐竜の遊具があったり開放的な展示なので子供もとても満足してくれたようです。

According to their Japanese website, pets may enter only with a leash on. However, pets may not enter certain areas in the park where zoo animals run freely such as Bird's Paradise and boat tours, etc., also not allowed in the dining areas.

We received a pamphlet in English. It gives hours, address, website, and feeding guide. It labeled 30+ animals in English, that you can check off✔️the ones you see.
It also explained how the squirrel monkeys might take your belongings, so to be careful, and reminded not to feed with human food, etc. The pamphlet also explained what's available for elderly, disabled (wheelchairs, disabled bathrooms, dotted line on map showing all places with no steps). Also info for parents with small children, what visitors with pets should/shouldn't go along the park, & that they have coin lockers available, etc.
The inside of the print has the map, all labeled in English, with restaurant names, and other helpful info.
