Excellent tour through New Delhi

My fiance and I went on the New Delhi/British Taj tour. We were the only ones on the tour that morning, which started at 6.45. At first I thought it was too early, but I realized that it made for a much calmer ride than would have been the case otherwise. Delhi is quite chaotic so this time is best and both Gerush, (the main tour guide) and Mukesh, the helper, kept us feeling safe the whole time. Gerush was incredibly knowledgeable about Indian history and also was able to answer our many questions about modern India and Delhi. They were doing a second tour that day and both of us were disappointed that we had already made other plans. I can't recommend highly enough.

A fantastic tour of Old Delhi

I would highly recommend this cycle tour of old Delhi.
Our guide Ahmer was friendly, knowledgable and shared his enthusiasm for the city with us, as well as giving us extra tips for our stay.
We cycled down narrow streets as well as wide boulevards and two additional guides made sure we crossed the roads safely. A brilliant introduction to Delhi!

Fabuleuse matinée de découverte de Old Delhi

Matinée incroyable et inoubliable; nous avons passé un moment fabuleux a slalomer entre les rickshaw les piétons les vaches au bord du chemin, le marché au fleurs, le marché des épices, le petit déjeuner était délicieux et local, le tout au lever du soleil av des belles couleurs et sans trop de trafic au début; à faire absolument
Nos guides Ujjwal et Mukesh ont été parfaits;
Ma fille et moi nous nous sommes senties en sécurité av eux même si nous étions que 2 femmes seules;
Les explications étaient parfaites

Experience of a lifetime!

This tour was the absolute highlight of my time in India! Gerush and the guys are extremely knowledgeable of the region and it’s history as well as expert cyclists. I always felt safe in their hands as we navigated remote rural villages and saw parts of the country that I never would have been able to see without them. If you want to get off of the beaten path and experience first hand life outside of the major cities then this is the tour for you. If and when I return to India I will definitely be checking out what new tours and experiences these guys have in store and I will always remember the time I spent cycling through the home region of Lord Krishna.

Une expérience haute en couleur
Incroyable matinée.
Si vous n’êtes pas allés dans le vieux Delhi à vélo, alors vous ne savez pas ce qu’est la vie des indiens.
Il faut avoir le cœur bien accroché, être prêt à zigzaguer entre les rickshaw, les vélos, les piétons…. Mas c’est une expérience incroyable au cœur de la vie. De leurs vie.
On a adoré.

If you are looking for a true adventure, go for the Shah Jahan Cycle Tour! You get up at sunrise and melt into the vibrant streets of Old Delhi to get the most authentic impression of local life.

The DBC team took great care of us. They provided well-maintained bikes, helmets, water, chai and tasty breakfast to make us feel safe and happy at all times.

Himanshu is the greatest tour guide and a true Delhi expert. Whatever place we stumbled across, he would always have a funny little story to tell. His aim was to make us fall in love with Delhi - and he did.
