Delhi Done Right

I took my daugther in a guided tour with The Delhi Way to Red Fort- everything was done really well from the pick up in an a/c car and water and snacks available. The guide also knew lots of interesting anecdotes and stories that kept my 8 year old engaged. We then went to chandani chowk - which was really fascinating for me and my daugther … everything was well organised and executed. I love the idea that it’s a women only team made the entire experience very safe for us.

Two great tours by The Delhi Way

I booked two tours through The Delhi Way. One was for a day in Agra and another for a 2 day tour in Delhi. They were both fantastic. Rajeev gave us a tour of Agra. We met Rajeev at 6 am and went to the Taj at sunrise. Rajeev was a great guide - he seem to put us in just the right places to get great pictures without the crowd in the background. He also had extensive knowledge of the history and intent behind the designs. After the Taj, we saw several other sights in Agra like the little Taj, Agra Fort, and a ceremic shop. Rajeev was really funny , smart, and a great companion for the day.

Nisha showed us around Delhi for a couple of days. She was the perfect companion for my wife which asked her questions all day long for both days. She had a extensive knowledge of the history in the area, fabrics, spices, jewelry, and Indian Food. She is very smart, very articulate and informative, and assertive - which helped when we would get hassled by merchants. She showed us some shops that she recommended and helped my wife select some fabric, scarfs, and jewelry to purchase.

The Delhi Way was great and I would highly recommend them.

Delhi Way is awesome - they're real local experts!

The day tour we took was incredible - our guide, Priyanka, was incredibly friendly and did an amazing job of breaking down the historical context of Delhi in a way that was relatable for us. We started our tour at a gorgeous step well that dated back centuries - and then navigated through Old Delhi, finally ending the tour at a spiritually invigorating visit to a Sikh Temple. All throughout, Priyanka showcased her expertise, introducing us to local merchants and serving up foods and flavours of all kinds throughout the day (my favourite was our stop at Karim's for tandoori fish and delicious Moghlai curries). I'd strongly recommend The Delhi Way to other travelers for an authentic tour of Delhi with local experts who know it better than anyone else!

I was thrilled to find a women-owned business providing day tours in Delhi. I booked an introduction tour of Delhi for my first time and first day in India. Divya, one of the owners, was my guide. I could not have asked for a more pleasant and knowledgeable person as a guide. We covered a lot of ground, both well-known and "hidden." Divya's experience and enthusiasm about Delhi was a wonderful kick-off to my Indian adventure. As a solo, female traveler, I appreciated Divya's input on where to go and when once I was on my own. We sipped great chai, ate delicious street and restaurant food. Divya was kind enough to send me a list post-tour to trigger my jet-lagged memory of the places we visited.
I was so pleased with Divya's professional attention to detail that I contacted her for introduction tours in Udaipur and Jodhpur. Through her contacts, Divya promptly arranged tours for me with her colleagues in Udaipur, Nishta, and in Jodhpur, Praveen. Both were personable and knowledgeable, again providing comprehensive and informative introductions to the two cities.
Some of the best memories of my trip to India are meeting and spending time with Divya and her crew.

Fun packed day with an expert guide

We spent a fun day exploring the fort, Chandi Chowk, the spice market and had a final stop at the Sikh Temple with Nisha as our expert tour guide. The day was well planned and it was clear that the Delhi Way team are very experienced with a lot of local knowledge. We visited a few out of the way places and particularly enjoyed the step well and the rickshaw ride through the markets. We ate at Karim’s which is a long established Delhi restaurant. We only had 1 day to explore Delhi and really felt that this was a great way to maximize the experience.

A custom tour of south Delhi

From reading a review I booked a one day custom tour of New Delhi with my father & a fellow traveller from a prior tour joined us. Our tour leader Nisha was very lovely & accommodating to what we wanted to see & do. We wanted to focus on the south part of New Delhi & the tour was happy to work with our requests. Nisha was warm, friendly & very knowledgeable on the monuments. Our driver was great & it is a lovely touch to include snacks, water & gift in the vehicle.
I highly recommend this tour to meet all your needs when visiting Delhi.

Trip of a life time, the divine Delhi Way

I can think of no better way to have been introduced to divine Delhi (both old and new) than by the well-curated, personally tailored, off the beaten track tour with the gorgeous ladies from the Delhi way. This was my first solo trip & first trip to India and the 3 days touring with theses spunky, professional, well informed ladies was absolutely amazing and magical, so many life changing experiences had and beautiful memories made.
Thanks so much to Divya, Prianka & Nisha for their kind hospitality, I can’t wait to return & use your services again with my husband & son. Highly recommended of you want a trio of a life time.

Be a local in Old Delhi!

While on a business trip, I recently took a day tour of Old Delhi with The Delhi Way tours and had a great time! I was sent a suggested itinerary, and was able to tailor it to fit my timeline and list of sights I wanted to see. I loved this tour because it was less focused on the "museum/guided tour" type of approach and more geared toward seeing how the locals live and eat. I felt like we went to a few places that were off the beaten path, and got a true flavor of Old Delhi. We even had some great street food too! As a woman traveling alone, it was reassuring to feel safe while on my tour with Divya. We had an amazing time and I highly recommend The Delhi Way for all your tour needs in India!

Family Fun

We are a fun foodie Punjabi family from Delhi. It was my turn to plan a cousins get together and i wanted to do something different. I contacted the Delhi way and asked them to plan a discovering and eating tour. Food of utmost importance :).

We were 8 of us and we did an Old Delhi tour. It was such an enjoyable day, the non history boys of the group also loved it. Prianka and Divya were so much fun. We walked through these unknown alleys, trespassed some havelis which was good fun, took richshaws, ate and ate all the street foods from century old outlets.
The history was so interesting and they explained it in such easy terms with references from the past.

Kudos to the team and post the pandemic am surely gonna take a few more of their tours.

Fun fun fun tour!

Disclaimer: Although I took a tour in November 2019, the website doesn’t allow me to choose a date before October 2020.

So here it is: Am an avid traveller and never really taken many tours, one has to have a mindset for the same and am I glad I took the tours with the Delhi way.
So it was our 20 years college reunion in Goa and we met up in Delhi. We took the Old Delhi tour and being mostly guys on the trip we asked the company to curate a tour which is of less of history and lots of food :). The Delhi Way designed a half day tour filled with walks, discovering hidden alleys, mysterious havelis. History was there but delivered in a really interesting manner and yes ofcourse lots of food. We all had a blast.
