Der Hauz Khas Park ist eine schöne Anlage, wo man die alten Siedlungsruinen aus dem 15. Jahrhundert sehen kann sowie viele Vögel auf der Insel im See. Sehr schön!

This is an amazing place with a beautiful lake, ancient historical 13th century fort, plenty of places to walk, a deer Park, lots of greenery, street food sellers and so on.
Hauz khas talk was built by the sultan's of Delhi about 700 years ago. This lake is now maintained by Delhi municipality and converted to a park and complex. The fort is just next to it.
It's located in hauz khas village. Entry to the fort needs an archeological survey ticket rupees 20, park entry is free.
It's a nice place to spend with family and have a nice picnic.

The area known as Hauz Khas is named for a medieval water tank that was excavated in this area by the Sultan Alauddin Khalji to provide water for the citizens of his city of Siri. The hauz (‘water tank’) was huge, and later came to be known as the ‘royal tank’, or ‘hauz khas’. In the reign of Firoz Shah Tughlaq, a madrasa (a centre of higher education) was built here by the Sultan, who also had his own tomb constructed as part of the madrasa premises.
The madrasa buildings and Firoz Shah Tughlaq’s tomb are now ticketed monuments, which are approached through a gateway at the end of Hauz Khas Village. The hauz itself, however, is part of the huge Hauz Khas District Park, which stretches not just around the entire hauz but further to the east as well.
The most prominent entrance to the park is from just before Hauz Khas Village, where the ‘Deer Park’ gate is situated. If you go in from here, a series of pathways, with lots of trees, some it overgrown and wild, stretches away along the road, for a good distance. If you want to stay on the more well-trodden paths, though, there are ones which go through lawns and better-maintained stretches. Off to the right is a small enclosure that houses rabbits and hamsters; not far from this are two historical monuments: a large and beautiful medieval tomb known as Bagh-e-Alam ka Gumbad, and (near it) a little domed tomb called Kali Gumti. Near this is a children’s outdoor play area, not very well-maintained or good.
If, when you enter at the gate, you turn left rather than right, you come to the very large deer enclosure, which has a large population of chital (spotted deer) as well as some peafowl and a few monkeys. Beyond the enclosure, a path leads down to the Hauz Khas, the water tank. The path goes all around the tank (which is really large), and with expanses of lawns and gardens stretching out beyond it. One of the major sights here is the medieval ‘Munda Gumbad’ (‘headless tomb’), so called because it was once topped with a dome which has long since collapsed.
Near Munda Gumbad is an outdoor gym. The entire area is generally very good for outdoor exercise, for picnics, and for getting in touch with nature (in peak winter, migratory birds can often be seen at the hauz). Note that you will not be able to go up to the Hauz Khas madrasa and its monuments from here.
Entry to the District Park is free.
