Without doubt, Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts (SRCPA) has been the breeding ground for the most famous of Bollywood and theatre personalities known in India today. I have watched many plays here over the years. The feel of being around and in SRCPA is like intelligentsia, creativity ans freedom. I still remember those days in childhood when I used to stay in Bengali Market area and roaming around and passing through the famous Mandi House, Nathu Sweets and SRCPA was such a pleasure. Its still is. Believ you me, its a must if you are a movie buff or interested in arts, drama, theatre and culture. Go, and cut yourself from the maddening running rush of what the capital city is all about.

Had visited to be a part and witness the performance of Tarannum Choir in 11th August. This place has always been a famous centre for art and cultural festivities. Well maintained with very minimal requisites. No extravagant and splurging to attract crowds. We can feel the difference of art and glitterati between this kind of places and the swanky Malls mushroomed in the city.

This is a canteen inside shri ram centre theatre.
Ambience - live and always crowded mostly with teenagers or students.
Staff - service is quick and prompt.
Food - this place basically serves Chinese food.
Recommended - momos, nimbu paani, sandwiches, noodles.
The food is good and very very pocket friendly.
This place do not serves alcohol.
Walking distance from mandi house metro station.
It has both open as well as close seating options. And this place is surrounded by greenery.

I visit Sri Ram centre every summer and sometimes during the winters too.to catch plays. Inexpensive tickets, good performances and well connected on the purple metro line just 200 m from the mandi house metro station makes it easy to reach

Yesterday on 8 th April 2018 we went to Shri Ram center. It's location is very good , auditorium is also very good. Here we watched play 'Diploma in corruption'.
Story of the play is very interesting it touches all the spheres of life and country where moral values have been replaced . It shows corruption in education , media, judiciary, politics , police department,dharm ,social and family relations.All the artists were superb .
We enjoyed the complete play of 1 hr and 45 min.

Sriram center is nothing but a good sized theater. Every week end there are shows and tickets are available online or at the window. You can choose and go. Facility is well maintained and easy accessible from mandi house matro station.

The best part of Shri Ram Centre is its location at Mandi House. Well connected with Metro and near to Connaught Place, India Gate and ITO. We have an opportunity to see a play named "Bingar Ki Joru" in Hindi. Nice cool place. Good crowd.
