This building is the tomb of Azim Khan, a general serving the Mughal Empire during the reign of Akbar the Great. Other than that I can find no notability or achievement of his service, but it must’ve been honourable service else the tomb would not have been commissioned.
The building stands atop a hill with great views of the surrounding areas were it not for the typical winter fog of Delhi. Even with the fog, you can see the Qutub Minar and the Ahinsa Sthal. As for the tomb, there’s not much to see. Compared to other tombs of the Delhi Sultanates and Mughals, this tomb is bland. The exterior walls are plain and largely devoid of features except for the oriel windows. Access to the interior is not permitted, but that looks pretty bland as well.
I wouldn’t bother unless you want to come for the views or already visiting the area.

I really don't understand the fuss about this place. Tomb looked rather bare and not much greenery either. So not exactly beautiful or picture worthy. There are nicer tombs in Green Park.

This tomb was built the Azim Khan himself who happen to be a general but late moved towards spirituality. The tomb is located on the top of a small hill. Nice sceneric view of adjacent area can be seen from top of the hill including Qutub Minar and Mehrauli Archaeological Park.

It is tomb dedicated to some Azim Khan or Akbar Khan, located near Meharauli area close to Ahinsa Sthal of South Delhi. He was a general of Mughal emperor Akbar, later became a follower of Hazarat Nizamuddin (Sufi saint) and grew up as a spiritual leader. It is also a tourist attraction in New Delhi.

A nice place to visit. Bit difficult to find exact location & equally difficult to reach on top. But views from top are serene & lovely.

Мехраули - первая официальная столица династии мусульманских правителей-султанов. Сейчас это археологический парк. Гробница Азим Хана построена на возвышении. Производит монументальное впечатление, несмотря на небольшой размер.

La tomba è ben visibile, anche dal complesso del Qutb e dal parco archeologico di Mehrauli perché è stata edificata su una collinetta all’epoca di Akbar. Imponente nella sua struttura squadrata con sovrapposta una cupole si fa notare da lontano. Dall’alto della tomba si può avere una bella vista sulle rovine.

Almost everybody visiting the Qutub and passing the Mehrauli Gurgaon road must have noticed this beautiful structure on top of a hillock but may not be knowing what the structure is. Even I did not know about it but in the last visit to the area I was determined to find out. When I visited the adjacent Ahimsa Sthal, a jain pilgrimage center I asked the people present there. They told me that to go this structure I had to go further towards Gurgaon, take a left turn on a small lane, travel further and then reach the place. It was difficult to find but my persistence paid of. I located the structure, found its description on a stone and climbed up the steep stairs.
It is said that this was the tomb of a general of Emperor Akbar who took to spirituality and built his tomb himself and he chose this structure on a height to make himself inaccessible to general public. Only a determined person could climb this steep hill without steps.
The structure is beautiful but its tomb stone is missing. The best part of this structure is the magnificent view of the Qutub, Mehrauli Archaeological Park and the adjacent Ahimsa sthal, apart from the surrounding area. Worth a visit and the trouble to reach this inaccessible and difficult place.
