It's walking distance from Terminal 3 to Metro. You can proceed to Metro with luggage. Within half an hour you will reach New Delhi Railway station which is almost near to main market in Delhi or you can take another metro from which you can go any place in or around Delhi

But if you are travelling delhi the first time then I would recommend you to download the app for Uber or Ola and select the share taxi or Mini cab which will be convenient and cheap. a. Using metro is out of question, because from international terminal (T-3) you need first to travel to Dwarka Sector-21 by Airport metro. Then change to Delhi Metro and alight at Janakpuri West station. Availability of Delhi Metro from Dwarka Sector-21 to Janakpuri West after 11 PM is doubtful. So forget about this option. b. Bus: There are no direct buses between T-3 and Piccadilly Hotel. In any case at 11 PM, getting buses is very difficult and it is not safe also. c. So you are left with only Taxi option. After coming out of airport building, ask any one for "Pre paid taxi booth" of Delhi police. It is just in front of Terminal building. Ask for two taxis for Piccadily Hotel. If they do not understand or do not know about it, ask for Janakpuri West metro station, which is adjacent to Piccadily hotel. d. Explore whether your hotel provides pickup vehicle at airport on extra payment. For six persons, it would not be very expensive. Your safety and security at Delhi after 11 PM is more important than money.

Welcome to Delhi! You can carry your baggage in the Airport line and it has place for stacking it near the doors. As this particular line is not crowded, travelling is easy. This is the only line which does not have a separate "women only" coach. Please be advised that in all other metro lines woman can travel in all coaches but in one "women only" coach, men are not allowed. It is usually the first, but in some lines it is the last coach and the travellers can easily identify by the signage and pink colour on the platform area where to expect the coach when the train arrives. There are no markings on the train coach. Mixed Groups and families wanting to travel together can use coaches other then the "women only" coach. Men can be fined for travelling in the women only coach. All coaches are interconnected. Using a travel card in case you intend using the metro more often is recommended as it is cheaper and saves time for buying tickets each time you travel.
