Aparentemente não tem um local específico esta atração. Eu conheci o Stingray spot no passeio da Lagoon Service, a nordeste das ilhas do Sofitel.
Muito gostoso o contato com estas arraias, que não são nenhum pouco tímidas.
Recomendo fazer um passeio que tenha esta visita ao local das Arraias no meio do mar de Bora Bora e também com alimentação de tubarões!

A boat ride out to a shallow that is teaming with sharks and rays. The guide will feed them and they are so friendly (rays) and will let you touch their back. Because of the shallow water it is also excellent foe snorkeling where you can see the rays and sharks clearly underwater.

Si vous venez ici, c'est pour faire le tour du lagon, aussi kitsch que cela puisse été.
Le passage vers les raies est un incontournable tout comme les requins au delà de la barrière de corail.

We went to both the trench, which is about 5m deep where we saw eagle rays majestically cruising their way around, and then to the sharks and rays in the shallow water

Loved this shallow water stop. It great for all ages. Fun to pat rays, as they are very friendly and playful. Sharks do come close, but they are harmless and used to people. Because the water there is 3-4 ft high, it is suitable for kids too. Highly recommend this activity.

We were feeding the rays here. If you put a chunk fish in front of their noses they'll climb right on top of you to get it. They're very friendly. It was a lot of fun.

Was not sure what to expect, but when a black tip shark swam by my leg less than 6 inches away it was just the coolest thing to happen. The sharks also circled like you see in the movies it was all surreal. Then I saw the manta's and I crossed several things off my bucket list they feel like velvet so cool.

Unless you're trying to navigate there on your own, it really doesn't matter, but there seems to be some confusion here. We saw the stingrays on the reef west of Toopua. There's another spot in the channel east of the south end of Toopua, which I could believe somebody has named Leopard Rays Trench. Frenchmen call spotted eagle rays "leopard rays". As other divers have reported, it's a nice dive, sometimes with current. Last year we snorkeled the shallow east edge of it and saw lots of big morays and a resident five foot great barracuda, returned, to great relief, after a multiweek swimabout to parts unknown. Lots of butterfly fish same as Hawaii and lots of butterfly fish different from Hawaii. The usual newtonian goatfish (a goatfish at rest tends to remain at rest). No cephalopods, no cetaceans, and no Napoleon wrasses. But a very nice swim. viz~60 ft.
