Took GO CT Shuttle to the Manhattan cruise terminal instead of driving and parking for $250 / week. Booked on Shuttlefare.com and it was only $400 so I saved $100 and didn't have to drive!

They have very rude drivers. It was the second time today I had an unpleasant experience with their drivers. Will never book a ride with them.

Our daughter flew into JFK on a Sunday evening to return to university and Go Shuttle was supposed to pick her up. We called and confirmed with GO Shuttle, and then when she arrived she tried to contact them. After over 30 min on hold they told her they had no room in the shuttle. We had to scramble at the last minute to get her back to New Haven by private car which cost over $300. Now GO Shuttle refuses to refund our money. Do not use this company, they are totally unreliable and untrustworthy!

I've been taking this shuttle for well over 10 years from LaGuardia to CT. I have one complaint, but it's a big one: about 90% of the time they're supposed to pick you up at the airport, they lie about how long you'll have to wait for the driver to arrive. If I'm going to wait 50 minutes, can't they just tell me that so I can go relax somewhere, instead of trying to convince me the driver will be here in 20 minutes?!

Getting back from JFK to Connecticut is never easy. Our 20 year old daughter had an early flight and it wasn’t a feasible option to drive to get her, and we didn’t want her to have to make a variety of connections via trains to make it back to the New Haven train station. So, despite the many negative reviews I read about this company, I figured we’d try it. I called customer service before I booked online to ask a few questions, and the person was very friendly and helpful. Her journey back was fine. Yes, she had to wait longer than the 20 minutes they said (maybe 40 minutes?), and she said the ride was bumpy (it’s a no frills van), but he got her safely back to New Haven (a 30 minute drive from our home). And, there are many drop off options (hotels, train stations). We chose a hotel close to the highway, easy on and off, and we could just sit in the free parking lot waiting for her. I would use the service again.

It may be hard to imagine atrip from New Haven to New York actually being pleasant, but my shared ride to JFK this week certainly was. My driver, Nabil, was a very nice man with a very pleasant outlook on life, and my fellow passenger was interesting and a great conversationalist.
I am known to be a "nervous passenger "( I drive my husband crazy) but Nabil gave me not a moment of concern (well, maybe one, but it was not his fault and he maneuvered beautifully) . I will always book this service when I need to get from Connecticut to New York.It wasthe best part of the long journey home.

I have been booking shuttles with this company for 5 years and each year I tell myself never again. Their customer service is awful and Georgiana is the absolute rudest customer service agent I have ever dealt with.

The shuttles are dirty/smelly, they do not arrive on time and Lord help you if you need to take a shared ride shuttle because they fill it to the brim (even if all the seatbelts aren't working) and then take you on Mr. Todd's wild ride for four hours for a 60 min drive.

Ask to speak to a manager and good luck!

Never again.

I usually try to find something good, even in a bad review. But this was the worst experience ever. All I can say is the driver was friendly. When I made the booking their webform estimated we would arrive home around 2:55 pm from JFK. It added a little bit of time to our trip, but wasn't horrible so I didn't look for another option. We didn't get home until 6pm. SIX PM! We were picked up at JFK, then taken to LaGuardia. Our driver kept making loops around the terminal, informing us after each pick up it was his last, until he was full. Now, I will say traffic was awful and probably would have added an extra hour to our trip anyway. But the first pick up at LGA was at 1:45, 45 minutes after we were picked up at JFK, so either their webform lied to us about our estimated arrival time at home, or they just didn't care when they gave the driver the extra fares. Then, his preferred method of driving in stop and go traffic would be to speed ahead then slam on the breaks. Speed. Slam on the brakes. My husband, who has never experienced motion sickness since I've known him, was car sick after the first hour. A couple times I had to brace myself on the seat in front of me. My legs started to swell after sitting down for our trans Atlantic flight and then being stuck in a car for 5 hours. They still aren't right. A 5 hour trip from JFK is not reasonable unless there are bodies on the road. Our driver kept taking personal phone calls. He didn't use his GPS...not to find a faster route and not to find the actual drop off points because then, when we got to his first drop it was the wrong street. These should have been written down for him and already programmed into his GPS. That added another 40 minutes of back tracking to our trip. His gas tank was almost on Empty and he had to stop for gas on our time. His check engine light was on, indicating a lack of maintenance of his vehicle. The area between the front seats was so full of clutter I couldn't stretch my legs out, and I'm not a tall person. Also, every other ride share I have ever used schedules "First on, first off" drops. We were first on and last off, and I have never seen such a schedule that ping pongs all over the place. Our final drop was in Hamden, but had to stop in Norwalk, Milford, and SHELTON of all places first. We flown 7 hours international, and spent 5 hours in the shuttle, also indicating a blatant disregard for their customer's comfort since I provided my flight information for them when I made the reservation. The driver also thought it was a good idea to eat his lunch while we were on board, the smell of which made my husband feel even more sick, and didn't do me any favors since I have food sensitivities. I also find eating while working extremely unprofessional, never mind dangerous in a car. How would you feel if your cashier was snacking on a sandwich while checking you out at the grocery store?

We will not be using this service again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Not the shuttle, not the private car. Nothing. I am also considering contacting my credit card company and canceling their payment. 2:55pm is not 6 pm by any stretch of the imagination, even with stop and go traffic, and I feel we were lied to just get our business. The driver was incompetent at best and dangerous at worst, as I wouldn't hesitate to say he engaged in unsafe and distracting behavior. None of this is worth the fee we paid.

I used GO for the first time when traveling to and from JFK in conjunction with a trip to China. I was picked up promptly at the Best Western in Bethel and had an equally prompt return trip the day I came back. Both drivers were professional and pleasant and the whole experience was a good one. The price for the transport is very reasonable!
