I took a few beginner classes and was fortunate that only one or two other people signed up. Then I committed to a package of five lessons.
My first lesson after buying a package had five people show up for the lesson.
I stood around the whole time while the people who need the attention the most were getting help. The instructor did not work us out while we waited. The whole lesson was just a waste of time standing there. There was no work out. My heart rate barely moved the entire hour. It was a total waste of time and money.
I expressed my dissatisfaction both on the way out and over the phone. They just said no refunds. They are making me go there or keeping my money. Terrible customer service.
Once I took a lesson at Roosevelt Island racquet club I realized what a joke Court 16 is.
They have low ceilings at Court 16 so you can never practice overhead shots. Overhead shots are a huge skill to never be able to learn.
There’s nothing realistic about the little courts they have at Court 16 with low ceilings and no work out. It is not prepare you to play real Tennis.
They reel you at Court 16 in with $51 for two introductory lessons. You don’t know what you don’t know. Take the two introductory lessons and then go someplace else.

WOW- this place is phenomenal! It has LED Lights as tennis courts with customized glass surface which is super safe but totally cool and super fun! It's Court 16 second club in NYC and a first of its kind. The location is super close to the train stations in LIC. The staff and trainers are positive, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. You definitely will love this place and want to come back. This is for anyone who wants to have fun and learn tennis. Everyone is welcome. What you waiting for? It has LED tennis courts!!! Go check it out today! This is A MUST DO in NYC/ LIC
