Quirky and fun way to spend a Monday evening in Croyde village. Our children aren’t at the age where they can make it much past 10pm, and sitting in a caravan listening to rain wasn’t our first choice. When we saw this and read the reviews, we thought we’d give it a go.
Popcorn on arrival and access to a bar with soft drinks for the kids. It was a pleasant experience that I doubt we’ll forget.

Such a lovely evening attending the deckchair cinema. Different setting for a family evening. We took stoned pizzas which are available just across the road, and enjoyed a beverage from the cinema bar. Popcorn also available. Booking tickets was easy and the gentleman at the door was very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

Recently moved back from Devon from the city and have missed random events like this!
Such a great experience watching Andy Irons, Kissed By God. Randomly came across the event on Facebook and had a nice night away from the normal sociable things you do. Highly recommend. Lovely setting with super comfy deck chairs! Keep them coming :D

Went to see Peter Rabbit at this quaint community hall on one of the deck chair cinema nights. Had a lovely evening Chris who took our booking was really friendly and welcoming. The deck chairs were great for young and old with the £1 a pint popcorn being an added bonus. A great way to spend an evening.

We booked the cinema in advance for our group of 13, including children and grandchildren. We had seats on the front row, great for the young ones, and also booked some of the double deckchairs this time, what fun. We watched Paddington 2, eating popcorn and drinking drinks all sold in the hall. What's not to like about an evening like this. The weather wasn't with us, being heavy rain for our walk there and back, but no-one minded. Our son did struggle with the deckchair this time, and ended up laying on the floor, but that is because he had recently broken his leg, nothing to do with the deckchairs themselves. The cinema is a pop-up affair, but if it is on when you visit, give it a go.

Went and saw Paddington 2 and had a great time! Thank you Chris for organising this event. Loved the deck chairs and popcorn! One on the list for anyone visiting Croyde.

Nice way to share an experience talking before and after a movie with fellow buffs. You can even get a decent pint while you watch. Bring a cushion if you are old like me!!!

Booked on line for family to attend when a wet afternoon was forecast.. fun experience for all to watch a film sitting in deckchairs in the village hall. Staff helpful. Even had popcorn for sale.

went to the deck chair cinema tonight - as a fan of quirky independent film venues I loved the idea and wasn't disappointed with really comfortable deckchairs for singles and couples and an excellent view of the very clear screen i was really impressed the sound quality was also excellent considering it takes place in a villiage hall. reasonably priced alcoholic and soft drinks on sale as well as fresh made pop corn added to the night. A massive well done to all involved
