A wide variety of collectables but overpriced. Not easy to get around the various rooms. The owner was watching tv and eating amid the collection so was unable to look at some items.

My wife and I love popping into collectable and antique shops on the off chance we may find something that hits the mark as far as our collecting needs.
This place has a number of rooms that are filled to overflowing. It's a collectables shop with some nice pieces but a lot of what I fondly call tat. And expensive tat at that!
We didn't stay long but the woman in charge never got off her phone call the whole time we were there.
I wouldn't bother. There are more interesting places to visit in York.

Luckily we ventured to Blandstown Village and spotted this Aladdin's Cave of collectibles, antiques and aboriginal art. Helpful lady in the shop, always ready to advise and answer queries. Some of the indigenous art an absolute standout.

The art work is original and amazing. Hubby and wife team, she does the fancy stuff, he does the practical stuff. I was impressed.
