After a disappointing visit at Christmas to see Santa- would not waste my time again as it was such a anti climax, we were also left deflated after visiting the 'zoo. The whole place did not have a fun, exciting feel to it, it just lacked that special feeling. The santa experience was terrible for my little one- they really need to create a better set up for meeting him/having photos.
After saying we wouldnt waste our money going again we were given rainy day codes as it was a very wet day.
So when I tried to use these codes, I followed the instructions on the website with one code working and the other not. So I tried again with no success as it was claiming to not be valid. I attempted to message on Facebook, twitter and also there actual website- no success and no reply. I rang multiple times the following day- no answer all day! You may aswell not provide a telephone number if no one answers! Truly disgusted. At this point I was too annoyed to bother chasing it anymore. So the one ticket I booked has gone to waste and I won't bother chasing the invalid code one as they don't have any proven means of communicating.
Will i visit again? Never. Total sham, tickets are far too expensive for the experience and let's be honest the food is over priced, the staff aren't approachable and they have no means of contacting them when something needs resolving. I would save your money.

Will not be the same with removing the apocalypse ride ... prices for food and games are ridiculous high ... was going to get passes but with one of the best rides gone I think we shall go else where now ... gone down hill since new owners take over.. shame really ..

Visited Drayton Manor with 2 kids during Feb half term. On arrival, we noticed it was pretty quiet and within minutes of being in the park, we realised the majority of rides were not open. We headed back to the entrance and spoke with 'the manager' who was speaking to another family in the same position. He advised that it does say that only certain parts of the park were open BUT that the wording 'dinosaur breakout in Thomas Land only' could be misleading!! He advised that we leave and contact customer services to request a refund. He advised that ANPR would show that we were only in the park minutes.
This is where the problems start. Back and forth emails with customer services, basically saying company policy is no refunds. Having had such a disappointing day, including having to drive over an hour to an alternative attraction (and paying again!) I was upfront in asking for a good will gesture of some sort.
We have been offered 'a complementary return visit' - how this is complementary, I do not know!! On pushing, I have then bene offered 1 ride via the exit gate.
The biggest issue I have with this saga is the lying and inability to be accountable to what was a complete waste of a morning with our kids!
I would encourage any family considering here to look at alternatives such as Alton Towers, Twinlakes, Gullivers etc

Great day out - my three year old loves Drayton Manor as able to go on all the Thomas Land rides! More choice for younger children than Alton Towers. Fabulous family day out

We bought the annual passes in February and have already hosted quite a few times. Everytime we have visited we have had excellent experiences with the staff at the park and the recent Dino days have been fab.
On our most recent visit it was a quiet day due to cold weather but we were enjoying it none the less, most of the children in our group went on bulstrode, just as they were sitting down my youngest decided he wanted to go on too. There was no queue and the ride was over half empty still and the ride had not started nor were all the gates shut or bars down, they were all still getting into their seats.
The staff member refused to let him join his brother and cousins on the ride because the gate was locked. I can appreciate this if its busy but it was quiet and he was the only one waiting.
He was upset as she was quiet rude in her manner of speaking to us and gave the impression that she couldn't be bothered to walk back an open the gate.
We have Visited many times and when there are spaces left on rides the staff are usually looking out for people to be able to jump on, and we've had lots of occasions where staff have asked my boys if they want to take a couple of seatseft on a ride.
Its not a huge deal and we e joyed the rest of the day but was just a sharp contrast to the welcome and friendliness we normally experience at Drayton manor so it really stood out.
In Thomas land in particular surely the staff want the children to be happy and have a good time and she could clearly see she had excluded our son from riding with his cousins and brother which just seemed cruel and unnecessary.
I can provide the name of the staff member if required but do not wish to post it publicly.

Party of 7 arrived with our tesco clubcard vouchers to be told they are not valid on special days. Had to purchase new tickets and get Tesco to refund vouchers. We only went because of the Tesco deal as there are far better zoos that offer way better vfm. This was very disappointing and we only stayed as our under 2 year old child would have been ver disappointed. Will not be returning.
Both the zoo and Tesco need to be much more explicit about the exclusions as we think this is just set up to rip off customers. There is NO reason in our opinion that clubcard vouchers can not be used on special days. This in our opinion is just unacceptable. If its an IT problem then this needs to be fixed fast to avoid negative feedback.

We’ve been members at Drayton Manor and really enjoy bringing our children here.
It can be very busy in the summer or Saturdays but get your timing right and you can enjoy having time to get on all the rides and have time for a walk around the zoo.
Toilets and changing facilities are immaculate and well maintained. Food halls are expensive but good quality and there is ample space for a home bought picnic.

Absolutely avoid!
This place is in the business of trying scam you out of a lot of money and then offer you zero customer service.
I booked tickets for February half term, they did not make it at all clear that most of the park was shut when I booked. I called to complain and they wouldn’t offer a refund or any help other than providing an email address. After my complaint they updated their website to clarify what was open so they clearly acknowledged their mistake but still haven’t replied to my emails and the phone line is dead.
Buyer beware, this business looks like it’s about to go into administration again.

No minus or else you would of been awarded minus 10
All the stalls were a con and very very expensive 10 pound to throw balls in a bucket
The grabbers to win a soft toy were all dodgy /broken
Food was ridiculously priced 3.50 for coffee
3.50 for chips
Times are hard for families at the moment children want to have fun but to be reminded prices are high not because of inflation
Or wars
But people's greed

I booked a stay yesterday because it said there was only 1 thomas room left at the time the price said it was 288.50 now it doesn't say that and the price has dropped to 235? Will drayton honour the new price? Also I have my confirmation of my reservation but the payment hasn't been taken yet? It's not even in pending? Has this happened to anyone else?

Does anyone know roughly how much the 110 bus ticket is?
I’ve looked online with Arriva but they say you can’t book a single or return ticket online and it won’t let me just view the price. (At least I couldn’t find it.)
Just looking at a ticket from let’s say “Grace church shopping centre” to Drayton manor return/day saver.
Train is easier. Open day return from Nuneaton.
Nuneaton to Tamworth. Walk 20 minutes to Drayton Manor or 10 minutes on Uber for about £7 or so.
I was to travel on the 110 bus from

Hi. On briefly looking up the 110 bus routes, it's active until 9pm. Drayton Manor closes at 5pm so there should be plenty of buses still going to take you back.
