Lovely farm, we really enjoyed it.
One thing I think they should get rid of is that peppa pig ride just as you walk into the bit by the guinea pigs. Seen a few family’s struggling to move on and kids throwing tantrums to stay on it. My child being one of them. Bit of a nightmare really. Other than that I would definitely go again!

We had farm-only tickets and had an enjoyable day out - great for the kids and lots of animals to see and feed. It was Easter holidays so we visited the Easter bunny in the barn (allergy suitable chocolate provided!), fed the lambs, sat on a pony, saw the chicks and ducklings and got an egg, and went on the tractor ride. Highly recommended!

I’m not sure how this farm can justify charging £11.95 for children over 1 years old. My daughter couldn’t do activities that other children (at the same price) could do such as feeding the animals, sitting on the pony, the Easter egg hunt and holding the chicks.
It’s a nice farm, the layout makes it easy to walk around, and there are some cute animals but please reduce your price for tiny little children who cannot do those activities!

Really good day out with various things to do for all ages…
However, I wouldn’t eat at the Play barn. Ordered a jacket potato for my son with beans and cheese which was £5. I wasn’t expecting it to come as HALF a jacket potato for that price. I understand it’s a children’s menu but… £5 for half is just ridiculous. The chips are cooked in dirty oil and so you can taste all the other foods they cooked giving the chips a very weird greasy taste.
And lastly, for some reason, they thought it was ok to give us our meals in two halves. By the time they came with my plate (8 minutes later) I told them there’s no point because everyone else has eaten and finished.
Overall it was a good day but some of the staff need to slap a smile on their face and be a bit more friendlier considering it’s a children place.

Firstly, I will say we had a wonderful day out and that was completely to do with our company and less the facility. We made it a fun day.
Clearly this is a popular place. We went on a Sunday and the play barn was rammed with customers and party bookings.
On arrival we were excited and we stopped in the cafe first to reset ourselves with the young family we were bringing. The cafe had a horrendous smell of used frying oil. So off putting like it hadn't been cleaned. Coffee purchased was average for the cost as well.
Some fairly typical farm activities to do and see on the way round. It was disappointing to have our kids only sit on the pony. The tracker ride as well went around the fields with next to no animals out in them. Didn't make much sense. We saw the golfers on the putting green though.
The play barn then in the afternoon was heaving. Not surprising on a Sunday though. And it is a decent play barn with plenty for the kids. But it's also grubby and really does need a good clean. There's a lot of cleaner soft play spaces out there.
Quite nice to see plenty of staff around the place. I cannot say it wasn't well supervised. But I'm not sure they are enforcing rules when you are seeing adults tearing around it, let alone children.....?
Then there are the relentless amount of cheap £1 plus a go 2 minute tacky rides. Most of which caused my toddler a meltdown because I'm not paying for it. Very unhelpful especially as it's also probably the most expensive farm that we've visited.
The outdoor play spaces are very good and plenty of picnic benches. Toilets also surprisingly clean so well done there.
For me I would go again, but it's a few years away. I believe they can do a lot better here.

Had a lovely day out at Ash End House Farm. The staff were really friendly and although there was a wait for the tractor ride, my 3 year old loved the whole day. The cafe was busy but we didn’t have to wait too long for our food.
My only complaint would be that we paid for the play barn but most of it was for children aged 4 plus.

Amazing day out. The Halloween display and activities change every year and never disappoint!!! We even got to pet some rats (they were surprisingly cute) and snakes which was so cool and there was plenty of time to carve our pumpkin. We finished our visit with an hour at the playbarn, a nice coffee and some yummy pizza. Thank you for yet another great Halloween experience

We visited on Monday 24th October 2022 and were in total shock to witness what can only be described as bullying towards two members of staff by who we assume was their manager. His attitude was appaling, telling them that there was a queue outside and that they should "wake up". One of the employees had trouble opening the window and again his attitude towards them was appalling, at one point throwing a tray! These poor members of staff were trying their best and to be treated like that was utterly unacceptable! Considering this is sold as a family run farm, what we witnessed was hardly family friendly!

I visted Ash End Farm on Monday (24th) and witnessed a shocking interaction between who I assume is the manager and two young girls working in the admission shed. His attitude was frankly appauling telling the girls to 'wake up' and at one point throwing a tray! This caused animal food to go all over the floor and his attitude really ruined our day. I don't usually leave reviews but considering this is a family run farm and visited by many families I felt I needed to highlight this issue. It was clear the girls were doing their best and this man seemed to be more interested in shouting at them then giving them a helping hand - I will not be visiting with my children again.

they do have a lot of older animals on the farm so I'm assuming they keep them. some of the animals are adopted from other farms or are rescued. You can find the information on the boards infront of the animals
