In December, we took two couples and our spouses on a tour to remember! Eugene was incredibly flexible and super knowledgeable about the area. It was excellent information even for the locals-we learned lots! We look forward to using him again soon. You will be so happy you chose this tour. We are booking our next one soon.

Friends from high school who have been gathering for 30 years! This year we included the lost pint! It was such a great day! We had fun, learned a lot, laughed lot and drank beer and wine! It was a custom tour with a terrific guide!! We can't wait for the whiskeeey tour!!

What do you get someone who likes beer and history and has way too many tools for their birthday? You get them the Lost Pint tour! For my husband's birthday, some friends and family opted to spend quality time together on the Lost Pint Tour. The owner/guide, Eugene, was amazing and fit right in with our crew! It was like spending the day with an old friend! We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and haven't laughed that hard in a long time! We also learned more than a few things about the rich history of the Harrisburg area. Eugene did a fantastic job tailoring the tour to our interests and included some awesome places and the people behind them along the way. It was refreshing to meet and spend time with people who are passionate about what they do. Thanks again, Eugene! We're looking forward to more tours!

Darrell and his tour are two of the best things in Harrisburg!
He has a vast knowledge base of the Harrisburg area, and a true love for brewing beer.
If you don't enjoy this man and his tour you probably were born without the part of your brain that has fun.
We took this tour for a bachelor party and it was the highlight of the day for sure.
The savings alone over getting a DUI are surely worth it, and if you have a large group you can't get to all the places he takes you for less money. Not even with uber, and your uber driver isn't going to give you a personalized tour of the area.

We spent a very interesting afternoon on a tour of some local breweries and historical sights. The owner and tour guide ( Eugene) is very knowledgeable and amiable.
We saw some interesting sights, had some delicious food, tasted a number of beers from local breweries. We also learned a lot about the area.
If you want to have a one of a kind awesome experience, call Eugene and book your customizable tour!

We had a wonderful time. For us history and breweries were our choice in tours. Eugene was a great guide and customized our tour. We were staying in Mechanicsburg, PA and he came and picked us up so we didn't have to worry about driving at all. He has a wonderful multi-person Mercedes vehicle that was very comfortable. Whether you're a couple or a larger group Eugene will come up with a perfect tour for you. In two of the breweries Eugene was able to get behind the scenes tours which made it even better. History, trains, wineries, and breweries Eugene will design a perfect day for you too.

I highly recommend The Lost Pint to make your pub crawl through Harrisburg more than a typical beer tasting. Darrel organized a wonderful day of beer tasting and Harrisburg history for my family. He was interesting and engaging, and very flexible to make sure the day fit our interests and expectations. Darrel even threw in a final brewery that wasn't on the agenda, as some of us needed a pit-stop before reaching our car. Rather than stopping at a gas station or McDonald's, we took us for an additional impromptu tasting, and this ended up being one of our favorite stops of the day. Darrel's van was very comfortable, plenty of room for way more than the four in our group. He was thoughtful about small details like packing water in case we needed some non-sudsy hydration. We got far more out of the day than we would have by driving ourselves from one brewery to another.
Fantastic day, would recommend this to anyone interested in exploring the Harrisburg craft beer scene as well as those simply interested in Harrisburg history.

This was by far one of the best tours we have been on. It was not one where they speak at you and just repeat the same script each week. Eugene made us feel welcome and by the end of the day it was like a tour with an old friend.
Got a great beer making lesson at the Millworks Brewery, toured Tattered Flags, Spring Gate Winery and quite a few beautiful stops along the way.
Would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun relaxed and informative day.
Looking forward to doing this again with some friends.

Fantastic experience, can't wait until next crawl through history. Tours are designed by your group and Darryl depending on your likes/dislikes and can be altered throughout the event. Darryl kept reminding us that this was "our" tour and we could adjust as we went along, some places we stayed longer others just a quick look and talk then moved along. Darryl picked us up at 3:00pm with his new Mercedes van that was very comfortable for our group of 8 people, tour finished around 9:00/9:30pm. Our tour started in Harrisburg (Millworks Brewery) with some beer history 101, while we enjoyed a pint. From Millworks we traveled to Fort Hunter/Rockville Bridge, driven by this place hundreds of times now I know the history. From Harrisburg we drove to Middletown with a little speakeasy history as well as a visit to the up and coming Tattered Flag Brewery (amazing restoration of building). From Middletown we stopped at the canal lock ruins (never knew this existed, pretty cool area) as well as a great view from Chickies Rock @ sunset. From Chickies Rock we proceeded south to Columbia, history behind the underground railroad and the importance that this area played. Dinner stop at Columbia Kettle Works (another great restoration job and very tasty beer & food). We drove back through the Iron Forge Ruins area in Wrightsville due to time we pressed forward to our final destination, Spring Gate Vineyards & Brewery. This was a great place to end the night, beautiful venue and never knew this existed so close to Harrisburg. Our group had a great time and would highly recommend for a fun night.

Hi Vivian C! Tours are set up by appointment. I can do a tour any day of the week; however, many places are closed on Monday. The cost is between $99/person and $109/person depending on which tour you choose. Custom tours are good too. Call or email to discuss details. Local pick up and drop off is included.
