이것은 네덜란드 원더 랜드에서 처음이었습니다. 이전에 우리는 허쉬 파크에 갔다. 우리는 허쉬를 좋아했지만 네덜란드 원더 랜드는 우리 아이들 10, 6, 3에게 좋았습니다. 그것은 모든 아이들에게 적절한 양의 놀이기구를 가지고 있었고 딸은 연도를 좋아했습니다. 우리 아이들은 우리가 다시 갈 수 있는지 항상 묻습니다. 우리는 확실히 다시 갈 것입니다. 나이 많은 아이들은 아마도 최선의 선택이 아니라 1-12 세의 훌륭한 장소입니다.

FRAUD...charges card and no tickets issued

Attempted to purchase tickets for Dutch Wonderland twice for April 2023. Both times said transaction was successfully but no tickets were issued. Attempted to rectify and was given the runaround. At this point, I have been charged twice for tickets I did not received. Called Customer Services several times and was told an email would be sent to a "mystery" group and they would contact me. This did not happened and this morning I was charged yet again and Customer Service hung up on me. These charges were not authorized. I requested in my emails that NOW 3 credits need to be issued and the ticket request cancelled. The 3rd charge was placed without my approval. Isn't that credit card FRAUD?

We were the first ones to arrive at the park that day. It was a weird feeling. I thought to myself if this was a mistake the visit here. Wow, was I wrong. Yes, not all the rides were open, but we had a great time. My son had a blast. The park filled up later. We really enjoyed it here.

Happy Hauntings is Worth the Drive

We enjoyed a gorgeous fall day at Dutch Wonderland (our first time at this park). This park is all about nostalgic vibes. It was built in the '60s and reminded me of the parks I went to as a kid in the '80s and '90s. I loved the my kids got to experience old-fashioned thrills at a well maintained park.

Unlike most parks built today, this park has trees throughout the park that were spectacularly changing on this fall day. Many of the summer-appropriate rides were closed, but there was no shortage of fun. There were Halloween decorations throughout the park; most were well done (the train ride at night is a must). We could have done without the Halloween costumes on the dinosaurs (it made that exhibit more campy), but otherwise enjoyed the theming throughout the park. Riding a vintage monorail with Halloween music was probably the scariest ride in the park (will it fall off the track? Ride it and find out!).

There are rides for all ages here. Merlin's Mayhem roller coaster was a stand out. The Dragon Lair's boat ride was a universal family favorite.

This park is significantly cheaper than the parks it gets compared to (Hershey & Sesame Place). We've enjoyed those other parks, but we felt like we got what we paid for -- good, old fashion family fun.

The one con to the park (which you'll find at any amusement park these days) is the lines. They were reasonable for (5-20 minutes) for the boardwalk-type rides (tilt-a-whirls, etc) but they were closer to 45 for some of the most popular attractions.

Recently visited and there was not enough workers to work which led to very few rides being available for operation. The castle 🏰 look is cute and good for pics especially at night but I didn’t enter the amusement park due to only 7 rides operating, water park side was closed, park crowded just was not worth the time or money. Still waiting to get a refund for tickets that never was printed or used.

A great, fun experience!

We went on the Sunday of Labor Day (Sept 4) and were very skeptical before going, due to the previous reviews stating that the many rides weren’t in service and it was a rip off. Maybe it was because it was the holiday weekend but we did NOT feel that we were slighted at all. There were a few rides that were closed in the AM but that changed in the PM. Our two girls (ages 9 and 4) had a blast!! Loved seeing the smiles on their faces.
Got there at 9:30 and had no problem parking and entering. We were able to ride the train around before being allowed to explore the park. Workers were friendly and helpful.
LOVED the diving show! Funny and talented performers! And it felt great sitting in the “splash zone” on the hot day. A definite MUST DO when you go!
Lines did get a little long in the PM but that was expected for a holiday weekend. Everything is what you make of it! We were so glad we still decided to go and make some great family memories! Our girls cried when we left because they wanted to stay and come back the next day!
Thanks Dutch Wonderland- we will be back!!!

Family Fun on Labor Day

Family Fun on Labor Day! We’re platinum pass holders from Idlewild and thought we’d come check it out. The 7 and 4 year olds loved it! We arrived before opening and it was a breeze to get in and visit guest relations to get the tickets. We did plenty in just 3 1/2 hours including the 3 coasters. Minimal food options but we did expect that- landed at the potato Patch and that was ok. I was glad our passes included parking and we brought our mugs and those refills were included too. We will be coming back for a longer day. The 7 year old rode Merlin’s Mayham and thought it was great (better than Slinky Dog Dash lol) I disagree! but overall plenty was open and only a few rides seemed closed (slides, frogs…..) on the way out we saw people at the water park side as well.

Such a gem! Diving show is a must!

After 40 years, my family and I continue to make Dutch Wonderland a traditional stop on our annual Lancaster vacation. Although the park has many unique rides, it’s more about the total experience provided to guests. Regardless of age, it’s a family oriented park that offers all visitors a fun time. There is just enough rides and attractions to make the day complete.

Without question, our favorite part of the park is the diving show. Whatever the theme of the hour, these incredibly talented actors and divers provide TOP NOTCH ENTERTAINMENT! They put their whole heart into each and every performance. They know children look up to them and really make sure they live up to their expectations. Every person feels welcome and excited to be there. Please let your cast know how much enjoyment they provide their visitors. Their shows are a major highlight of our entire trip. We enjoy so many laughs and smiles by being there. Even if we do nothing else in the park, the price of the ticket is worth each performance.

Thank you for so many years of memories with my family. Even though we are older now, we still enjoy visiting your park. It holds a very special place in our hearts.

We went to DW today ( September 2nd) and can attest to many of the things said in other recent reviews. Many of the rides were closed forcing the huge crowds of people onto long lines for other rides. The same with the food stands. We didn’t have as much problem getting into the park for parking (about 15 minutes) and another 15 -20 minutes through security. My grandson wanted to see the dinosaur exhibit but someone forgot to turn on the dinosaur sounds so we basically walked through a park full of statues. Echoing other reviewers, DW obviously is short-staffed but that’s not our problem. DW should warn people ahead of time about how many rides are closed, lower their prices or restrict park admissions to reasonable levels. We didn’t go on one ride as our toddler could not wait in line 30-40 minutes for a single ride.

We went 8-29 and it was such a bad experience. nearly 70% of the park was closed. Duke lagoon closed. The rides that were open were mostly toddler rides for the little kids. The other rides the lines were so horribly long because it was packed and nothing was really opened. The only food place Open was pretzel place. We left after being there for 2 hours. a hour of the 2 we were waiting in line. guess everyone thought with the kids back in school it would be empty lol. If you cant open up even 50% of your park you shouldnt open at all !
