Absolutely wonderful experience at the Atlantic Sheepdogs near Sligo! Thank you Mark and Mo for teaching us so much about sheep farming, dog herding and life in Ireland.
Such a fantastic demonstration. I love dogs 🐶 and sheep 🐑 so this was so great learning about your life’s work. If you are touring this area of Ireland 🇮🇪 it is an absolute must-see!
What a fun day and it was beautiful too. If only we could use a few calls like we learned in parenting 😉 hmmm

How much I learned during this visit. And the opportunity to see a dog working and controlling the movement of sheep at the command of the handler was superb.

Such a fun experience to see how a sheepdog works. Martin was very informative and his dog Moe was amazing to watch. I highly recommend this activity.

Martin and his dog, Moe, are truly an unforgettable experience!! It was so interesting to listen to Martin talk about the generations in his family who have run the sheep farm and hear about how it used to be and some of the advances that have come over the years, including the sheep dogs. Which brings me to Moe. An incredible dog who is a champion Irish sheep dog. He is beautiful, focused, and you can tell he just loves his “job”! It was a joy to watch him work with the sheep and we even got to hold a 2 day old lamb!! 😍 Highly recommend!! So glad it was part of our Connect the Dots tour!

What a wonderful experience! Martin and Moe have the most beautiful connection - she is such a clever girl. We loved the demonstration and enjoyed hearing about the history of using dogs to herd sheep. Martin’s enthusiasm and passion for his work absolutely shone through - loved every minute, thankyou 😊

Wow! Martin and his dog Moe had an excellent demonstration of how he uses Border Collies to herd sheep on his farm. I was so impressed with Moe's natural instincts and the training Martin does with his dogs. What a wonderful demonstration! Martin was willing to answer any questions we had and I loved his excitement to share what he does!

Visited as part of a tour. Was the highlight of our tour of Ireland. I could have watched that dog and sheep for hours. Wonderful presentation, so many questions answered, learned so much. I highly recommend this experience to all. Something children would enjoy too.

Great demonstration ! The owner was very entertaining and engaging. Learned a lot about sheep farming in Ireland. My daughter loved petting the sheep. It was lambing season and we got to hold a lamb that was just hours old. We got to see the Irish champion sheepdog in action, incredible! Family run and operated farm for several generations. The entire family welcomed us when we arrived ! Definitely worth a visit!

Excellent customer service! We had to cancel our reservation due to illness and actually received a consoling email. Certainly not an expected experience with a cancellation. We will definitely make plans to visit Atlantic Sheepdogs on our next Irish adventure.

An excellent attraction. Martin was welcoming, entertaining and informative. Sheepdog Mo was endearing and very clever. A very interesting experience and with a shelter to stand in, we could watch in awe from the dry out of the rain.

Not sure ours was an organised visit for a large group. Well worth visiting so suggest you contact them direct as they were very helpful.
