“A valuable resource centre and very interesting”

를 방문하여 무료 입장 기회가 아주 잘 배치되어 잘 보관 전시 박물관 을 즐길 수 있고. 직원들은 매우 열정적이었고 마을 한 질문에 대답해 주, 이 전시의 과거. 매력적인 곳이 오.

내가 아침에 따라 2 아들을 나눈 박물관의 역사에 대해 여기서 일하는 몇 명의 사진을 보면 얼마나 답답하 남부 도시로 개발된 지난 몇 년간. 그리고 한 소년은 매우 유익한 퀴즈가 주위에 이동. 아주 크지는 않지만 충분한 공간이 있고 흥미로운 유물 표시할 수 있습니다. 일반 주민들은 역사에 눈을 추천한다.

Small but fascinating
Visited this little gem of a place with my daughter and 9 year old grandson. Despite its cosy dimensions its full to the brim with all manner of interesting exhibits. Definitely worth a visit.

Great little place.
I think crappy little small town museums like this are great and this one is no exception. With half hour to kill in the pleasant town of South Molton we entered the small museum and there were interesting bits and pieces to look at in all directions, even the children didnt moan as much as we thought they would. This was the first day of our weeks holiday and was a great way to start.

It appeared to be the only thing open in town on a non market day!

Now, I'm not sure if this was a result of COVID, but the town was dead, shops closed/empty, very different to when I visited last around 4 years ago. However, it did mean we were drawn to this little place. Interesting things on show, but disappointed there was not more of a local connection rather than a load of objects that could be from anywhere in the country.

Also, I felt uncomfortable with the 'volunteers' on my shoulder the whole visit, clearly wanting wanting to talk/impart wisdom, when I just wanted to look at stuff for myself. This meant I didn't stay as long as I might have.

I'd say go visit Great Torringon's newly re-freshed collection. They have a fab little local museum.

This local museum has a range of interesting things to see with really helpful and knowledgable volunteers who are happy to explain anything. It is free to visit and there is parking close by.

A small but well laid out Museum

Spent an interesting time in this museum on my recent visit to South Molton. OK it might not be the biggest visitor attraction in the area but please go there for a "feel" of the history of South Molton and the surrounding villages and the enthusiastic volunteers who run the place

Little gem

We visited this museum during a recent week long stay to the area. Similarly to lots of small town museums, it was a real gem. There are lots of exhibits charting the town’s history from the Stone Age through to recent. They have catered for little ones with a ‘fact finding’ trail through the exhibits. It’s not somewhere you need stay long but is a good break from the bustle of the high street.

A quick visit to South Molton, and we found this gem of a place. Lots of interesting exhibits to suit all interests and our 10 year old had fun finding the answers to the clues! Definitely worth a visit.
