A cute cafe in Dorset

Cilla & Camilla were recommended to us whilst we were in the area. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. We highly recommend the afternoon tea & scones, not to mention the famous Dorset apple cake and clotted cream!! The cheese scones were very tasty and the Big 5 smoothie was so refreshing after a busy day. You must visit this cafe. The food is really good. The parking outside is also very reasonable.

Perfect lunch

Two of us had lunch today - I had a prawn & avocado sandwich & my husband had the special - bacon & Blue Vinny toastie. Both were delicious. I told my server that I marked my lunch 15 out of 10 - and I am VERY particular. Lovely little outside courtyard which was a little sun trap today.

Owner/ Manager unacceptably rude - don’t buy any clothes/ items from them
I had the misfortune of meeting the apparent manager/ owner of this store - a man who was extremely rude and argumentative - when I came in asking to exchange a dress for a credit note. I had purchased the dress, which was still in season and sellable (at full price), 2 months earlier with tags still on and my receipt present. Although I had good reason for not being physically able to return the dress in store, even if such a request is refused, it should be done politely and with respect. What I found shocking (and disgraceful) was his general tone and unreasonable manner. I was treated appallingly and thus will never buy anything in this shop again.
