Located across the street from the RSL is this lovely shaded garden area that honour a local war hero.definitely worth a look

I saw a sign as I was driving through Wedderburn for the Community Garden and thought I would stop for a bo peep. I am ever so glad I did. On this relatively small block is the most delightful garden. Mr Edwin Hargreaves (Ted) transferred this property to the Loddon Shire Council.
What the local council has achieved here, with community support, is a wonderful serene space. The garden has been thoughtfully planned out to reflect what is important historically to the community- such as the yellow foliage running through the centre of the garden, which reminds us of the importance of gold to the area.
I would highly recommend this space to anyone... it's very serene and there is an amazing kangaroo seat in there, which will delight children.
