This is a quick stop to see a petroglyph panel. The petroglyphs are worn and in most cases, barely visible. There are zillions of things not to miss in Bears Ears National Monument but this is not one of them.

This was an unexpected find! Easy to access. There had been some vandalism in the past, but much of the Petroglyphs are still very visible. I would recommend!

Sand Island Petroglyphs and easy stop, just off highway 191. The wall of petroglyphs is over 100 yards in length and protected by fencing. The wall is a fair distance from where you'll be viewing from, I would recommend taking binoculars.

Von der Straße aus ein Abstecher von wenigen Minuten, man kann praktisch direkt bis zu den Petroglyphen fahren (mit einem guten Auge oder Fernglas würde man vom Auto aus wohl das meiste erkennen). Leider sieht man viele Spuren von Vandalismus, weshalb die Petroglyphen durch einen Zaun geschützt werden. Super Ort, um einfach mal für fünf Minuten aus dem Auto heraus zu kommen und ein paar Meter entlang der Petroglyphen zu spazieren.

Ok you can drive to this but have to climb the hillside through brush, weeds, goat heads, etc… no elderly, disabled, or health impaired person should attempt this. You can see some of it from rough dirt road in front. This is not a must see unless you are staying in the campground below or just in the area as we were. One person said it was easy to access, but that isn’t entirely true statement.

Definitely worth seeing. We just came from Canyon de Chelly and this was worth the visit. if you visit Bluff, no idea why you would, go se these petroglyphs.

Unfortunately this has been defaced, but there's still drawings to see, it's quiet, and you get a little walk in along the bluff. Definitely worth 15-30 minutes!

Although a fence has had to be installed in front of the petroglyphs, they are still easy to see. Very detailed images (clearer than those we saw in Monument Valley).

Ce village de Bluff compte parmi ses constructions un musée dont l’accès est gratuit et dont vous ne sortirez pas psychologiquement indemne. Il retrace le parcours de fermiers qui ont décidé de s’installer à Bluff et l’histoire est complètement dingue. Le village retrace leur mode de vie et les bénévoles sont extraordinaires ! Vous passerez un moment à l’écart du temps, avec des gens d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité incroyable. Arrêtez vous au musée de Bluff : vous serez conquis.
