This place should be closed to the public so it can regenerate and return back to its natural state ( or as much as it can ). Sadly now it is more of an RV park with trash in the actual hot springs, way too many people, and just a lot of folks who probably don’t know how to respect natural lands. I did not want to get it the water, it seemed dirty. I would stay away. And a message to the owners — close it!

The hot springs (there are #3 total) are worth a stop. They are all natural and vary in temperature. There are fish you can see as the water is very clear. The pools are big and there is lots of room for everyone and easy access in and out. The road is dirt but up until the entrance, it’s very well graded. There is no specific charge to use them and you can camp right next to them if you want, but there is a donation box for what you feel is fair and can afford. There are no restrooms, and no services such as places to buy water. This is all natural. The pools are exposed in the open so wear a hat as you enjoy them. Bring a swimsuit.

If you are passing through Utah, you MUST check this spot out. We went early morning around 5:30am, sunrise was magical out there. We heard from locals that the kiddos like to go out and have late nights out there so little heads up, morning was perfect

Relaxing atmosphere, bring your swimsuit and water shoes, it looks to be pretty deep. The little fish do like to nibble if you stay in the shallows. Not many people there but could see it getting rowdy. Multiple pools to soak in.

Such a cool place felt like we were in the ocean with the fish and cliffs under the water. Free. Just have to walk a ways. Come ready to swim nowhere to change, cool people there.

***$100 REWARD FOR LOST BACKPACK***
I went here with my friends yesterday afternoon and somehow left my blue 35 liter Gregory backpack with a headlamp, rain poncho, and some other small camping gear inside. If anyone found it and would be willing to mail it to me shoot me an email @tacodaniel29@gmail.com and i’ll cover shipping costs plus an extra $100 for your effort. My friend also forgot his swimsuit that would likely be nearby the backpack, it would be great if this was included.
For the hot springs themselves, there are 3 different pools. The one farthest away was by far the hottest and deepest, worth the walk through the mud. The two closer ones have fish that have been released into them but are lukewarm.

There are 3 hot springs, the roads between are rather bumpy. I would recommend either parking at the first one and walking or come in a four wheel drive. There are no changing areas so come ready to get in.

The pool with the dock had a young couple in it making out and so we chose to go to the slightly smaller pool. We drove most of the way and then walked the rest of the way.
The Water was very warm. My granddaughters had fun snorkeling and swimming around.
We were there in the middle of the day and so it was not crowded.
Very good experience. I would go back!

Don’t listen to other reviews. Do not go. The two pools are just luke warm and the other that was the warmest was filled with so many people drinking beers and disturbing others. It was dirty and not inviting.

hi, I'm wondering if dogs are allowed ( my dog stays in a dog carrier and we are not inkling in the water just around ) i saw the sign not dogs but before that it said no soap or shampoo so i thought that implied that stuff was not allowed in the water

It is. It’s on private property so it’s unsupervised. Just be sure to clean up after yourself.

I heard You can camp at this site, we have a camper and need to know if we need permission before we set up camp for a Friday night to Sunday morning. Does anyone know. Since it is on private property?
2020년 1월 30일 작성
You can't camp right by the hotsprings but there's tons of public land within 10 minutes of the springs you can camp on. The public land has lava tubes and sand dunes. So there's plenty of cool places to camp nearby.

Depends on which spring you get in there are three. The nearest one to the parking lot is the warmest and deepest, best guess would be between 85 - 95 degrees (year round). If you've ever swam in the crater at midway's homestead it's about the same temperature as that.

Remember though you are on private property please pick up any trash you see and conduct yourself as a guest so that this continues to be a great spot

Is this still open to visitors? How do I get there from Salt Lake City and who do I contact to get permission to be on site?
Thank you!

It is open to visitors, you already have permission from the generous owners. They have a parking lot and where you see the wooden fences, there will be a pool. There are 3 or 4 spots to leave a donation, and please do. The dirt road to the parking lot is well maintained, and very short. Just put meadow hot springs in you phone or gps to get directions. And please don’t forget to leave a donation for these great foljs

24/7. If the weather is inclement you may not be able to drive easily on the dirt roads. It is on private property which is currently open to the public.
