I had to take a moment to leave a review for Lilihouse Farm. We visited more than 3 years ago with family and friends for Tea and the petting zoo for my daughters birthday. We still talk about that day and smile. Have you ever found yourself breathing in, looking around and thinking this is too great to be real? That's what it felt like the entire afternoon at Lilihouse farm.

Well, this farm tour wasn't exactly what I expected but I had a great time. We started out in the petting zoo area and got to feed and interact with the animals for a little while. Then there was a little bit of a tour, like we left the petting zoo area and walked over to the rabbits and chickens and spent a little time there, then we walked over to the vegetable garden and spent some time there, and then we went back to the petting zoo area until time was up. The animals were so awesome and some of them were happy to be handled/petted and fed. When we were there they had the cutest lambs (Mario and Luigi) who were my favorites. Second favorite was the baby bunnies that we got to hold, they were SO small and cute. I really liked the garden and the flowers that were planted all over. And the family who runs the place could not have been nicer, I really enjoyed talking to them about life on the farm and life in Hawaii and family and all that stuff, it was great.

We are so lucky to have this wonderful little farm in Volcano. The family who runs it is so kind and warm. The farm is beautiful and adorable at the same time. There’s always some baby animals and a variety of interesting farm life . Danielle is an amazing baker and her scones and bread and cakes are delicious ! I’ve been to a variety of events from baby showers to open houses to breakfast teas there . It’s always a delight ... with or without kiddos. So happy to have them in Volcano!

I took my 7 yr old granddaughter to The Lily House Farm a few days ago. It was our third try because of rain. When we set out on the 2 hour drive, I still wasn't sure if we would be able to do their Deluxe Tour or not because it was raining on us some of the time on the way over. But we were so blessed, by the time we got there the sky was blue and it turned out to be a perfect day!
I can't say enough about our amazing experience! First Kinoa met us in the driveway and walked us around the farm. Then we got to play and/or hold any the animals we wanted. Every animal was so docile and friendly and they all seemed to love the attention. It is very apparent that they are all expertly cared for!
Then after a bit, Danielle had their beautiful outdoor table set with fine china and the most delicious homemade scones, bread, butter and rhubarb jamb. I never have had home butter before either, it was so good! Danielle made us tea while Kainoa started a fire for us in the outdoor fireplace. After we were served, they went inside and allowed us to enjoy our tea.
When we were finished we got to go back in with the animals once more. While my granddaughter was running around playing with the animals I sat with a 9 day old bunny in my hands and enjoyed the conversation with Kainoa.
It all made for a great day, Kainoa and Danielle are great people and their place is truly a blessing to visit! It is truly worth a visit even if you have to try multiple times to beat out the rain!
The only thing I can say that is bad about visiting The Lili House Farm is that after you leave may feel the need to own your own petting zoo (or one or two those adorable tiny bunnines) because they make it look so simple and easy to do. 😉 From experience, I can tell you, all you need to do to resolve that feeling is just google to see what it takes to care for each of the animals. You will come to your senses pretty quickly. 😆

The place is truly beautiful. The tour was wonderful filled with facts about the animals personalities. The animals were very friendly and loved every second of attention we gave them. Charlie the little pig walked around with us and nudged us for scratches. The baby bunnies we so soft and tiny. This is a great place!

My husband and I came here with my aunt and uncle and we had the most wonderful experience. We signed up for the Country Tea Petting Zoo tour and enjoyed every minute there. The animals are precious and the property is so beautifully maintained. Hosts Kainoa and Danielle are the kindest people on the planet and Danielle is an exceptional baker and barista. Can’t wait to return.

So fun!
It was the first time for me, to be around young farm animals, who wanted to be picked up and cuddled. Piglets, turkey tom, goats, Jersey calf, rabbits were all so gentle and full of aloha!
When Kainoa led us to the barnyard, all the animals became vocal, including the2 piggies, who squeeled in delight.
But besides the fun with pets, the whole place was very clean and had the distinction of classy landscaping and beauty. Special attention were the flowers and vines that were planted everywhere.
The picnic area had a roof (for rain). There were fresh flowers, china, and candles on an elegant koa wood table. A fragrant fire was burning in the outdoor fireplace.
The elevation in Volcano Village is one mile high, so the fireplace brought warmth and coziness to the dining area.
The homemade scones and biscuits were served with jams and butter, prepared by Danielle and Kainoa's family. At the end, Danielle put the uneaten food in ziplock bags and we took home good memories of the farm. Mahalo Kainoa and Danielle!
