Toa luau was amazing! We got there early and walked to the waterfall for a swim. There were lifeguards at the waterfall and they were great with helping my mother in and out of the water. The luau was amazing. Cousin Eddie hosted and made everyone feel like family. The demonstrations and activities before the show were fun. The food was great and there was plenty of it. This was an unforgettable evening!

We had a great time!! One of the best luaus I’ve been to. Very entertaining and good food! The hosts were awesome and it was alot to fun!! Would recommend!!

This was fun for the family. The teens enjoyed the events before dinner. Going around and learning about the foods and the culture was very interesting. Then when we got the food it was so delicious and they said the kids could get more which they definitely did being teens. It was a fun time for all!

Very beautiful and fun luau experience. The staff was so accommodating and seemed very happy to be there. The show was audience inclusive. The narrator was humorous and informative.
The hula girls, the male dancers all did a great job. They give you a real Lei as you arrive. The food was good. The fire dancing was super! They all worked so hard and put on a great experience for the audience!

I spent a lot of time searching for the best luau in Hawaii. I ended up going with Toa Luau for the cultural experience. I was "worried" that it would be too educational and lack entertainment. Boy, was I wrong! The show was amazing and full of entertainment! The hands on cultural experience was fun as well. The food was also delicious! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time!

One of the best experiences in our entire trip to Hawai’i!!! We hiked to Waimea Falls in the morning (with included entrance pass to the Waimea Valley), then went to luau. Absolutely loved the entire luau! They are full of Aloha spirit and warmth, from the moment you check in. You are able to try and learn how to prepare the food (Taro, Bananas) right with the Ohana. They are so welcoming and friendly. They show how to prepare the Luau, and then you go inside for an amazing and entertaining experience. We learn of the culture of the Hawaiian people, and share with each performance more and more history and get closer in spirit. The dancing and music are great .. hula, huka, and fire torch dancing. The food is Excellent, and they can’t help but offer you more. And the same people that prepare the food, serve the food, and do the performances. It is a one family production! By the time you leave, you have a warm feeling of family (Ohana) and really feel connected to the Hawaiian people and culture. Very highly recommended! You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent luau! We’ve been to several luaus on Oahu over the years and Toa Luau was the very best one … smaller and more intimate. The food was great and the show was spectacular! The servers and the cast were all wonderful. We all loved it so much, would highly recommend.

What an amazing experience! Make sure to arrive early to enjoy the pre show activities. We went as a family. The kids loved the show and also loved the food. Man the food was delicious the drinks were also delicious (alcoholic drinks).

What a wonderful Luau! Run by a family it was so wholesome and intimate, I cannot speak highly enough of this experience. If you do nothing else you must do this. From beginning to end it was just amazing. Greeted with a fresh flower lei, then onto the fun activities, which we were able to experience them all from hula dancing to shredding a coconut. The dinner was lovely, food served was authentic and delicious and the show of course the highlight! We had the seats at the back and they were great, on high stools we saw the show easily with no problems, we are a family of five from Australia and were seated with a family of five from Atlanta and by the end we had a new “Ohana” we had a personal visit to our table for a chat from a luau family member which was so lovely and I just need to say the one thing I will remember the most is the smiles and happiness on every dancers face as they performed, like they truely wanted to be there and truely loved what they were doing! The same beautiful girl that presented our lei was the same girl that helped us learn the hula or make our head piece and then performed in the amazing show! And the fire show, well was just so amazing I could have watched it all night!

One of the best luau's I've been to. 5 stars! The people who entertain you are the same people that greeted us and served us our food. The fire show was the best and the food was good.

Everyone talks about hiking and swimming in Waimea Vally but how are you washing up afterwards and getting ready for the Luau? Are there showers available on site? If no showers, is everyone going to the Luau wet and stinky? Or just wiping down with wet paper towels?

Not difficult at all. There is a parking area right outside the main building and additional parking before you get to the main area. Not very far at all.

Has anyone driven from Waikiki to the Luau? I see it’s about an hours drive, but are the roads safe for night driving if you’re unfamiliar with the area?

Yes the roads are safe. We went up the windward said going to the luau and down through the leeward side coming back. You would be traveling leeward, the roads were well lit.

Can you save seats at a table before the show while you walk around doing activities? We are looking at buying the least expensive seats. How much are alcoholic drinks and soft drinks on average?

I suggest getting there early so when they show you to your seats you can save the best ones at the table. Then you can walk around the demonstrations which are really cool. I think the drinks were between $6-$9 (beer, wine and a couple of cocktails-the mai tais were good 👍🏻). I highly recommend this luau
