Where do you meet the tour? What is the fee? How long is the tour? What mode of transportation or do you need to walk as we have a handicapped individual?

What do you get for the money? Well first of all, you get transportation in an air conditioned to avoid the Ga. heat. There's no fancy trolley/bus but I am all about supporting small business and Black owned business also for this particular tour. I understood from the beginning it would not be a big business tour company and I was completely fine with it. The knowledge and our-story I partook in on the tour was eye opening and empowering! Now Jamal does speak fast sometimes so from time to time I did ask him to slow it down or to repeat himself and he did with no problem at all. If you are looking to partake in the heritage of the African ancestors, this is an amazing tour however if you are looking for just a brief overview of His-story then a good old high school history book will do the trick. Jamal is passionate about what he does and even gets lost into character. I've been on many tours throughout our country and abroad and I will say this was one of the most engaging ones. You actually travel the journey and learn the plight of low country, sea island Africans.
